We used to travel to Victoria from Seattle a couple times a year and, except for 2 times, always stayed at the Hotel Grand Pacific. This is the first time since the Covid restrictions were lifted. Everyone was helpful and upbeat. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The newly renovated Lounge was fantastic. It's a great place to unwind. We only had breakfast once in their new restaurant. It was great. Just the right amount and cooked perfectly. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. We can't say enough good things about the hotel. It's the only place we'll stay when we visit Victoria.
The only thing I can say to this question is I would like a more diverse menu for the restaurant. That may be that I'm not used to the dishes presented. It would be great to see more Italian influence or maybe Spanish type items on the menu. But, that's just me.

We loved our suite; the bed was super comfortable and the view of the harbour was spectacular! Cocktails in the lounge while enjoying live entertainment was a great way to finish off our evenings. Also, the location could not have been better in Victoria with so much to enjoy within walking distance.
Not much to say here; our stay happened to coincide with some renovations still being done in the restaurant, but that is a minor quibble of a temporary nature.

We love the location. I’ve stayed there many times over the past 22 years. Great facility with wonderful access to the commercial district and harbor.
It’s not being kept up. The furniture in our suite was well worn and looked stained and unkept. The hotel is pretty blatant about announcing what they can’t or won’t do and blaming it all on the COVID. Frankly, there’s a management issue. And by that I mean it appears that the owners are trying to squeeze every nickel out of each occupancy without much return on it for the customer. The food is nowhere near the level that we’ve come to know from the place.

The room was very clean. The balcony and view from it were exceptional. The linens were clean and in good shape. Bathroom and shower were sufficient. The staff was very welcoming and attentive to our needs.
The bed was a bit too stiff and my wife and I both woke up a bit sore in the morning. The room safe was not functioning so I carried my laptop around town with me. The noise from the HVAC system of the neighboring hotel while the door to the balcony was open was not ideal.

Check-in staff initially charged us for a service dog from the US - they asked for a BC service dog certificate. Service dog should be free. Also falsely claimed that a US certificate is not enough and that a BC service dog certificate is needed. I further researched online that a BC service dog certificate is NOT mandatory. I had the to argue with the staff during checkout. After showing them my dog’s US certificate, they refunded the $50.00 fee. Their front desk staff should be better trained regarding this matter. I felt like they were taking advantage of me since I am a tourist and not knowledgeable about Canadian laws

Great location, iconic hotel and excellent service by the front desk staff. Ritish was especially helpful with a 3rd party mishap and went out of his way to please even though the hotel was not at fault at all. He wanted me to have an excellent stay which we did. We had a harbour view which was beautiful. Parking was very good and accessible. The restaurant food was very good.

The location was so ideal—it was in walking distance of everything you can think of doing around the harbor. My daughter and I even walked to Chinatown from our Hotel. The breakfast in the Hotel is just as good as anywhere you might find but with the added bonus of having the convenience of being right there! All the Hotel staff were so accommodating and friendly as well.

Elegant, classy but the staff was not only professional and service oriented but down to earth
I chose this hotel on location and the need for the spa area, the steam and sauna but it is inaccessible. I use a scooter and you are unable to get a device such as a wheelchair near the spa area to access this vital area. Very disappointing. Our hotel room was very accessible friendly.

The location was perfect, close to the ferry dock, and the beautiful downtown area. Our room, the lounge, the cafe, and our balcony were comfortable, clean and attractive. The staff were upbeat, friendly, and so helpful. The staff in the cafe went way out of their way to create a positive experience for us. We really appreciated the level of service.

Jose at front lobby was great. He seemed to have our interest in mind when booking room and was very pleasant. He was also very pleasant when we checked out. The room was very clean and had a nice view of the inner harbor. The workout facility was excellent, the best I have experienced associated with a hotel.
Have no suggestions.
