The Castle at Swan Lake

Location was excellent. Everything was most enjoyable ,plenty of room. Kitchen just like home. The manager and receptionist are true professionals and you can tell they enjoy their work and serving the people.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was updated and modern. Had everything you would need to cook a good meal. There are bbq’s out by the pool for guest use which is nice. The restaurant there is a great little place. Definitely a more expensive and fancier option but that was what we were looking for. The food was amazing and has gf options. The staff were great. Would stay there again. 10/10

The pool hours are 9-9. Would be nice if they extended it from 8am-10pm. That being said, the staff member came around at 9 and said she would be back at 9:30 to close the pool so we got a little extra time.

The rooms are more like condos, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and well appointed washroom. Front desk informed me that they were originally meant to be condos, in fact. Very comfy. Pool was small but clean and nice. Lots of shade around it. Entire courtyard was pleasant. Being right next door to the water park made going there super easy (walking distance). Despite that, you wouldn't realize you were next to a water park at all; very quiet and peaceful.

Having a breakfast available is always a plus, but not a deal breaker given we all have our own full kitchens. Having a fitness centre would be a good thing, as some of us actually use them.

I didn't expect a full kitchen (which included a dishwasher). The kitchen was a lovely and a welcome surprise! Very spacious suite, I liked the private patio, although we didn't get to use it.

* Noisy, stomping (sounded like kids doing gymnastics??) directly above us, which continued until 10.35 p.m and started again early the next morning. * We had a truck, and parking access and space was tight out the front, for a large vehicle, when checking in. We parked at the alternative parking around the back for the night, which was close enough to our suite. Knowing what I know now, if I went back with a truck, I would park around the back first & then walk through the property to check in. * TV didn't have a signal, where we were - so couldn't use the TV. (The trees maybe blocking it?) *We were on the bottom floor, (which was nice!) but the tall trees out front meant that we didn't get to see the lake, from our room!

The suites are fantastic for families. We found it worked best to have the kids in the loft, leaving us the living space in the evenings. It was so nice to have a full kitchen to work with and do moast of our meals 'at home' during our vacation. The pool is great and easily accessible for the kids. We appreciated the use of the BBQ, and the games/books lending library during our stay. Beautiful and relaxing grounds, lovely view of swan lake and easily accessible. Thank you!!

the apartment style rooms, the lovely views, the private outdoor access to the room instead of a dingy hotel hallway! also, it wasn't huge so you didn't have to deal with so many strangers like those mega hotels. oh, and the semi-private balcony/patio! the full kitchen amenities, incl dishwasher and convection microwave!!!

-was unable to turn the fan light off in the bedroom and keep the fan on at the same time. -no full length mirror for when you're getting ready to go out.

Was upgraded to the executive king suite, what a pleasant surprise! Room is huge, basically a condo. Staff was very nice. Room was clean, found it quiet even with the highway. Coming back in June with the hubby.

Maybe not the best location for those who dont drive but the bus stop is right out front. No gas stations or stores in walking distance but only a few minute drive. Out front parking is limited but plenty of overflow room.

Everything was perfect. I will definitely be going back again. I really wanted to bring back a pillow, though. They were so comfortable, and so was the bed. I highly recommend this place for couples and family. My only complaint was that I didn't have time to use the pool ☹️ my trip didn't allow for the time, but next time, I'm getting into that pool.

Not a fan of the bathroom sinks its to high, and the faucet is to low

Friendly staff, Air conditioning, full kitchen with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, room with a view of the lake, ceiling fans, outdoor pool, reasonable price, recycling bin in the room, secure bike storage, lots of parking, right beside water slides, close to beaches (15 min. drive)

Pool shower and water fountain didn't work, games room didn't have much - just a few games, noise from the highway (okay when windows closed but loud on the balcony), open concept shower and sink in upstairs loft, bathroom sink set abnormally high
