Comfort Inn & Suites Salmon Arm

Really liked how quick and easy check-in/out was. The breakfast was delicious! Love that this was included. The pool and waterslide were great, but it was closed for cleaning for an hour the morning we wanted to go swim after breakfast... and the hot tub was out of order as well as the pool bathroom. Would've been fantastic if not for these few things.

Pool was closed down on a Saturday morning at a prime time for about an hour. 9:00-10:00am *clean it when no one uses it (out of the operational hours or late/extra early). Hot tub wasn't working the Friday night or Saturday morning of our stay. Duper disappointed as this was one thing I was really looking forward to for my sore muscles, and my son loves going in it too in between pool swimming. Pool bathroom was out of order which is a pain when you have young kids.

Room, clean hotel and breakfast all good. Cleaning staff very friendly.

When I checked in they did not have the reservation under my name. I made the booking through Booking.com. I booked 2 rooms a queen for myself and husband, I also booked another room for our friends. The hotel had both rooms registered under our friends name. I use booking.com as you do have a loyality program, I am guessing I didn't get any loyality points for that booking as the hotel did not have my name on the booking. When I checked out the next day our room was still under our friends name. When checking in the day before I provided them with all my information, it appears they just ignored it. I also show a charge on my credit card on the morning of the 13th for both rooms.

it was available when I was stranded in a snowstorm. The fellow behind the counter was amazing totally understood my predicament, and helped us out with a room even when they were swamped with other travelers, who are in the same position we were. We didn’t use anything other than the room but I’m sure the rest of the hotel was just as amazing the bed was comfortable. The pillows were amazing. The TV didn’t work, but I wasn’t there to watch TV. I was just there to rest for the night, and I can’t say enough about the man behind the counter I wish I had taken his name down because he was amazing.

The lady at the front desk at check-in was a delight and welcoming. Much appreciated especially after driving all day - my dog and I were simply passing through on our way to Ontario. It’s the first place we stayed on our trip and it started out on the right foot as far as accommodations - people can make it or break it. Lovely person.

Couldn’t tell ya - we checked in after 7pm I think and it was totally smooth.

I sent a msg on booking.com about my travel plans (moving and travelling in two separate vehicles). I advised that my husband and brother might arrive first since we’d be in separate vehicles, and asked if they could put a note on file to allow them to check in if they arrive first. They did end up arriving first, but were not allowed to check in even though I prepaid for the rooms. They ended up having to wait for me. I was frustrated with this, as my husband has MS and needed to lay down after being in the vehicle all day. I don’t understand why it was an issue when they arrived when the communication I had through booking.com made it seem like this wasn’t going to be a problem.

The front desk lady (especially who was there in the afternoons) was exceptional, room was very clean and comfortable, beautiful views from the room, good coffee in the lobby.

The hotel uses too many plastic (cups, cutlery and bags to wrap everything) which is absolutely not environmentally friendly. For breakfast they didn’t offer anything for those who prefer a healthier option, no fruits or vegetables. The breakfast room is quite depressing (small space with no natural light and barely any light) Also, I’ve never seen a 4-star hotel using paper plates and plastic cutlery to serve breakfast (it was also poor quality, I could barely eat with it because they bent se easily, it gave the breakfast a very cheap feel)😒

Beds where super comfy, location was decent.

Breakfast was not that great as other reviews have raved about, could of been late to the party going around 8:30am but eggs where almost same as tim hortons use to use if not cooked correctly would seem like a sand texture, cubed hashbrowns not to great bit of a chemical taste like they didn't rinse the hot tray to good before placing them in it, can not speak for the waffles though as i skipped that.

Comfortable and clean. But old outdated signs. On the 5th floor , there is a sign pointing to ice and vending machine. Which I went on a egg hunt for only to find out after calling the front desk they don’t have a ice machine and vending machine on the 5th floor. So I mentioned then ,they should take that old outdated sign off . They haven’t had one there apparently for years.

The breakfast was exceptional - lots of options and very good. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool was fun and clean and the staff were all friendly.

The room could have been a little darker, the blinds/drapes didn't quite cover the whole window and let quite a bit of light through when we were trying to put our kids to bed early and sleep in through the early morning sunrise.

I reserved a room just because of a previous excellent breakfast review. I was not disappointed with hash browns, omelette, waffles, pancakes, juice, yogurt, and toast. The room was clean with a mini fridge and microwave. The beds soft and clean smelling. A large TV. The pool was warm with a water slide that was amazingly fast for it's small size.

The only downside of our trip was the hot tub wasn't functional.
