Hampton Inn by Hilton Kamloops

The king suite was great Lots of room. Premium small Refrigerator and separate freezer. The bed was super comply. The couch was comfortable. More room than most hotels we stayed in. The breakfast was not a lot better than other hotels, but it was served in a more posh environment. The AC was tied to a thermostat and not too noisy. The exercise room was not huge but modern and adequate. Kamloops was built on hills and much larger than I expected. The Lobby and downstairs seating areas looked very nice. The stairway was inviting.

The pool was fairly large and indoor but was a bit stuffy/humid like many indoor pools. The food selection was similar to most Hotels and the food area was rather small, but the eating area was large.

It was clean, staff went above and beyond to accommodate my large family. Pool was so fun, my kids had a blast while I was able to relax! (always a 10 in my books). Our beds were comfortable. On Christmas Eve I requested a room clean, and the staff stayed late to complete! The breakfast was delicious, while pretty much the same each day, I wasn’t tired of it after 5 days. Selection was large, and hot food was cooked well. Travelling with small children is sometimes stressful, but not in this hotel. Rooms seemed fairly soundproof, so I wasn’t worried about them disturbing other people staying.

I was looking for location, cleanliness and breakfast included - I found great staff, specially the two people on the breakfast that was kind and super helpful, Gina and Eghosa. Breakfast has great options. Room was clean, well maintained , bed was confortable. Swimming pool was a plus, it was also clean and well maintained.

I requested a room with bathtub instead shower, I sent the request. I just wish that front desk would have told me that was not available or something. Just felt like he even checked my note.

Always stay here. Great staff! Great breakfast! Clean rooms.

Our refrigerator didnt work. Blinds didn't close. Yet the staff was very happy to fix for next guests.

Our 8 year old loved the water slide! The included breakfast was quite good with two waffle irons. Room was very spacious, very clean, very comfortable. The TV had a USB port so you can use your own chromecast or fire stick, which was a nice added bonus. The staff were super friendly and helpful. and they’re pet friendly!

The hot tub could have been a bit cleaner, and would have been nice to have real utensils and plates for breakfast. it didn’t feel great to be throwing away so much plastic. otherwise, amazing!

This hotel is well located for the car traveller being a couple of minutes off the Highway 1. The staff checking us in were friendly. The room was comfortable and the overall specification is middle of the road. Not fancy but not crappy either. There were plenty of free parking spots.

The breakfast was the usual mid-market gong show. Not enough tables and the food well picked over by 8:15am. I really hate the waste of serving on paper plates and cups!

Breakfast was pretty good, can't complain. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, the AC wasn't as cold as it could have been, but given the outside temps, it was still pretty good. The pool is a great way to cool off for sure, don't take the waterslide - it was scary. The nice thing about the pool is that it's open til midnight.

The sign on the street said newly renovated, but not everything is completed yet. There wasn't anything that stands out that I would say I didn't like. All in all it was a good stay, staff are friendly, accommodating.

the staff was really kind and helpful. we really enjoyed the breakfast. super nice that gluten free options are available. rooms were clean, however there were a few areas needing to be vacuumed - and the toilet paper was near out on arrival. over all really happy with our stay, I would with confidence book again :)

parking was difficult; not much parking available during busy weekends. my husband and I made several laps looking for parking. staff indicated that parking on the street is available- we did not feel comfortable with that as the Main Street is very busy.

The room, pool, and breakfast were great. The slide was closed due to severe weather. We had a nice view of the city. Liked the fact that the pool was open from 6am - midnight. That's excellent! Allows for late night or early morning swim.

The parking was limited. All spots were taken by large vehicles and even on the street. There needs to be overflow parking available next door or across the street without worrying about ticket.

The location was convenient and provided easy access to the mall, box stores and strip malls as well as Highway #1. There are also numerous local hiking trails nearby if you so choose to get some exercise or walk your dog that provides an elevated view of the valley. The included breakfast was great with numerous options for kids and adults alike. The breakfast area was large with various seating options.
