The Cache Hotel and Lodgings

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, bed comfy and it was nice to be able to watch Netflix. There was plenty of towels in the bathroom and we like the little design made with it. We had a 20% discount at the restaurant downstairs. The food eas delicious.

The only negative point was the smell of bleach when we entered the room but except that it was all good 👍

It was comfortable, nicely decorated and conveniently located, quiet despite being over a pub. There was a sitting area (sofa), which was nice.

There was a coffee maker but no coffee or tea. Nice hand soap in the bathroom but no soap/ shampoo for the shower. The room was a bit dark with only one window, taken up by a/c. Minor things for a short stay.

It was clean and convenient, loved the place and the check in via code. Also the lady providing support was nice and available.

I don't really mean we didn't like it, but some people could. It was above a bar and the building is made of paper, we could hear the music and then everyone going up the stairs and on the hallway and outside of the building when they drop out around 2-3am. As I said we didn't mind, but someone could take this as a con.

Conveniently located above a restaurant and a cafe.

Didn’t bother me, but it’s up some steps - no elevator. Would not recommend for single female travelers, room was great and secure with inside only access, but access to the floor was not secured by a key or keycard. No office, everything via text. Again, great for me, but maybe not everyone.

Stayed in a deluxe Queen room from Sunday-Wednesday. Room was quiet and beautifully renovated. Everything was new. Shower water flow and hot water are awesome. TV even had Netflix. Fridge was one of the largest I’ve seen in at hotel. Was able to fit all my hiking food and ice packs! Room had a big ac unit so was a comfortable temperature all night. There was extra storage space in the suite for golf clubs and gear. I’ve stayed in several hotels throughout Golden and this has been my favorite experience. The little extras were really nice too: fridge was stocked with real cream, cabinets full of dishes, fridge had bottled water. The staff is very friendly. I do like how check in is remote. Door codes are sent to my cell Phone. I can call/text if I need anything (my room was fully stocked. Didn’t need anything over the three days) Location is awesome. The bars below are fun and the food is really good.

There is no elevator so hauling gear up to the suite was a bit more effort but this is just a minor thing

It was clean (you can tell the building is older, but the room looked fairly newly renovated), we had lots of space for only two people, and I loved the kitchenette! Having an actual freezer was fantastic, as we were traveling with a cooler and were able to refreeze the cooler packs overnight. We got email notifications confirming our booking, and a voicemail message giving us the password to get into our room, and instructions to find the building, which entrance to use, and where to park. We had been driving all day and it was nice to just drag ourselves up the stairs and let ourselves right into our room. The lady who manages the property was helpful and friendly! We did text her with a question about the wifi password, and she answered very quickly.

A floating shelf or two beside the bathroom sink would have been handy, as there was no vanity space to set your toiletries. The kitchen could also use a few more pieces of cutlery.

Room was quite nice & big since we got the bigger room. And quiet even with a jam session in restaurant below! Could have used hand towels & wash clothes as well as paper towels in coffee area. Restaurant was fun with good food, views & staff.

Hallway carpeting but it's a ski area so get it.

Excellent location to everything in town. Very nicely renovated. Good restaurants at ground level. Owners are very nice and they are just a text or phone call away. Great base location to see surrounding sights.

Budget rooms have no air conditioning. You will need to upgrade slightly to get air conditioning. They did have high powered fans in the room but we were upgraded to the next level and it made a big difference as it was very hot while we were there.

Newly renovated. The concierge was virtual so I received a text with the pass code of the rooms. The entry way was a bot sketchy (obviously not part of the renovation), but the rooms were quite, clean and had everything you needed.

Entry. The rooms are upstairs so you had to carry your bags - no elevator.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. Easy to access and it had plates and cutlery. The staff are really responsive over sms.

Even though we turned our temperature control down as low as it could go the room was warm. We opened the window to cool it down and there was a lot of street noise.
