Van Der Valk Luxembourg Arlon

This hotel is very interesting in the way that it is furnished and decorated. You can waste away a lot of time just looking at your surroundings. The bedroom was very comfortable and nicely equipped. We enjoyed a short walk near the hotel in the sunny afternoon. There was a very good choice for evening meal and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Just the location. It was conveniently placed between 2 main roads for travelling, but for us, not the location that we like to spend time at. There was no noise in the rooms when the windows were shut and the room had air conditioning, so was very comfortable. If we were passing through the area again, we would definitely stay here.

Very new and nicely decorated. Modern feeling and interesting aspects such as the “shop” available for a wide variety of products (also basic foodstuffs / snacks). Enjoyed watching the robot whizzing around. The bedroom was very comfortable , sound insulated AND a lovely view through a floor to ceiling window. Quite impressive. It’s a great stop over hotel in the summer. Full of tourists and families and good value for money..

I think the shower room and toilet need more ventilation (ours was either not working or very very quiet ‘ ineffective)

"street food" in the restaurant not so good (Burschetta) and expensive for what it is. The hotel is located right next to the highway, which I hadn't noticed on the website. Probably easy when working around but the view from the room is not very nice on the road side (room without balcony) a bit noisy even if the double glazing is of good quality (we were on the 10th floor). The hotel offers all the comforts with several proposals for meals (2 restaurants and bar and mini-market corner) because the hotel is decentralized (no shops in the vicinity)

The rooms were big and cosy. Beds were comfortable.

Room Temperature controlled by reception. When the room was cold, I had to ask the receptionist to change the temperature. Very annoying! We asked to check in at 14:00 instead of 15:00 and they asked 25 (!!!) euros! In the room we did not find slippers, this should be standard for 4star hotel. Sunday morning the cleaning lady woke us up by knocking at the door at 09:00! Last and most important, shampoo and shower gel are not individual. They are family size, fixed on the wall and you just touch the dispenser that of course cannot be sanitized! Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel especially during pandemic!

We wanted to have a drink outside in the nice weather, but the terraces wasn't open. So the Manager said that we could take our drinks outside.They prepared for us a nice table and stools with seating inside. We had a great time and after that we had a great dinner with a good bottle of wine. Our vacation started already at your hotel. Thanks for that , we'll come back

Suggestion we would loved to have a garage underground. for safety reasons. We came with old-timers and those are eye catcher for people that want those car and steel them. So for our night rest we would sleep better in a closed parking lot or underground garage.

This is a good facility. It is new and not far away from the center of Luxembourg. Very well designed. The restroom and shower are separated. The beds are comfortable and the linen are good quality. The room is large enough. The illumination is good. The minibar is cooling very good.

The hotel construction has not been completed since the beginning. The gym, the sauna and the swimming pools are not yet in use. The size of the towels are shrinking.

Travelling through and back to UK and stayed here both ways. Great hotel with good rooms.

had to wait for room as stank of smoke and needed to be changed, gave us another room but had bed decorated for celebration so had to wait again. Gave us complimentary drink but when at bar they said only soft drink or tea.

beds were very comfortable, rooms were lovely, spacious and clean issue with room on 2nd stay, as awful smell of smoke breakfast was excellent, great choice of different food options

could be more snack options available during the afternoon asked for different room due to room smelling of smoke

Everything about this hotel is spot on. Food was excellent, especially breakfast there wasn't anything else you could want, husband had freshly made omlette.

Nothing to not like!

The hotel was great but the way the bill was settled was not so great. Usually you either pay on arrival or pay on departure, but a part of the final amount was taken each day, as a hold on the card. This was very confusing as a hold was put on various cards. I would prefer just one amount taken at the same time to pay. Other than that, the hotel was good.
