The location was great...close to everything and in a safe neighborhood.

The beds were very firm. I asked for 3 extra pillows at booking and didn't have them upon check-in. I sent a message to reception that took a while for a response. Eventually, I ran into a very friendly housekeeper who gave us the pillows. The elevator has charm but is old, so has size/weight limitations. The TV was very small. All in all, the room was clean, in a great location, and the check-in/out instructions were easy, and the process was very straightforward.

The comfort of the beds is incredible. The high ceilings balance out the small room perfectly, giving you a sense of spaciousness. Collecting/Returning the keys was easy and simple. The property is well connected and one could say it is at walking distance from the centre. The retro look is not for everyone but we loved it as well as the intention of renovating the bathroom just enough so it doesn’t lose its charm. Toiletries and complementary bottle of water were definitely appreciated.

Additional furniture like the vintage armchair and sofa would have definitely contributed more to our stay as long as they weren’t dirty. Both were stained and none of us had the slightest intention of even touching them. In addition, one has to be very careful with the lift as it is slow and old. The view of the window is basically an inner side of the building and on the other side we could see another apartment, there wasn’t much light coming in. Lastly, we were asked to sign a registration form that we had no option but to sign. I would have definitely preferred the property not having my phone number saved after my stay, as well as not having to sign beneath the following condition: “I agree that the credit card information used for payment will be stored for my next stay”.

The room was comfortable, bathroom clean. The coffee machine, croissants and e small fridge were a pleasant surprize taking into account some of the comments of travellers. Additionally, there is a small kitchen on each floor so that one can make a cup of tea. I also liked nice lamps at the beds, that contributed to an agreable atmosphere in the evening.

It would help if the key-box would be on the proper storey where one stays, For those who live on other than second stock it would be more comfortable. I did not have any luggage but I can understand that for those who do, it is not very handy and a bit confusing to rise to the 2nd floor and then try to find their way to the Mezzanin where the rooms beginning with 1 are placed. Otherwise I was very content with my stay.

This is a self check in hotel without any reception staff. You get a key from an automated box after receiving the code - something which was new to me! The rooms are amazing, well equipped with elevator facilities. The location is amazing - 5min walk from tram and metro station. They kept chocolate and vanilla croissants as welcome hamper for us!

No staff. I wanted a 1 page print out of my tickets but the hotel could'nt help me since there was noone to do it. If someone wants any out of the way help - there is no one.

Excellent location just next to the Rathaus (City Hall) and main University building. Just a 3-5 minute walk to the Schottentor subway and streetcar station. Self check-in was easy. Number of good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Convenient to the center of the city (15-min walk), but in a much more quiet area. Room (and rest of building) very quiet.

Room was fairly small and drab (but clean), with windows opening onto an interior space w/ little light.

The room is quite basic, but the beds were very comfy, and the bathroom was small but clean. There was much appreciated air con and a little fridge. We appreciated the complimentary water. The self check in was amazingly easy and the code for the outer door worked after check out until 6pm which meant we could store luggage. The location is perfect. Walking distance to many "must sees" and a stone's throw from the tram to get to the station. We are staying here again next week!!

Amazing location! I wanted something close to the main Christmas market and this was it! It's also close to the tram as well as a stop to the hop on hop off bus.

Check in didn't go as easy as I had hoped. I never received my email with a code and I just want things to go smooth and not have to worry about these type of things. I was worried this would happen and it did. The second number I called did connect me with someone who helped me and they were very good.

Double bed was okay but extra bed was very squeaky You can be scared even when using the elevator with rules If you need something after 4-5 pm you never find anyone I just only saw housekeeping lady in the mornings that’s it

Good location, close to the center, we didn't have to take public transport. The bathroom is reeeally cozy! The room was equipped with old furniture, but was clean and the bed was comfortable, so we were able to have a good rest. It was very quiet, we didn't even hear the other guests. They clean every day. The instruction how to get the key was very clear, I like the concept since we came into the hotel very late.

The building itself is old, the neighborhood and the entrance are a bit spooky, especially at night.

The self check in is super easy and it's possible to leave luggage before and after check in/out. Our room was very big and the beds and linen are very comfy. It's very clean. There's aircon and a fridge and a coffee machine. Great shower. It's within walking distance of "must sees" and close to the trams. Tram D takes 25 mins directly to the main station. We have been here twice in two weeks and will definitely stay again.
