The Beach House At Bayside

The Beach House is a very clean, well organized property. The room is very comfortable and has everything one might need with extras just outside the door; as well as a daily treat. It’s quite luxurious. The owners make a wonderful breakfast in the morning and serve it restaurant style. There are starter choices and main choices. One of the best assets is JoAnn. She’s full of knowledge about the area and spends time sitting down with each guest and going over what to do, where to go, and where to eat. She has so much energy and is so positive. She’s. amazing!

Possibly the best boutique hotel in Australia!! Wonderful staff really made the stay. Craig (at breakfast) is exceptional and the breaky is to die for. Exceptional cleanliness, wonderful food and nice company. Joanne's check-in was sensational - so much local knowledge and recommendations - we had four great meals at local restaurants - all recommended by Joanne. A small afternoon treat is brought to the room every afternoon to tide us over and complimentary chocolates and port compliment the rooms. The bed was very comfortable and with the hotel being less than 100 metres from Middleton beach, we fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves every night.

Perhaps the bathroom being open (around a corner) to the spa and bedroom may not suit all couples. Really there was nothing to dislike about our stay, other than we should have booked for longer, as the hotel is so relaxing and nothing is too much trouble, and there are plenty of things to do in Albany and the surrounding regions.

A minute walk to the beach and paved walking track that went for kilometres in either direction. Room 5 upstairs was big, very nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable. Outside our the room was a Lounge area where port and chocolates were left each day to enjoy whilst relaxing plus a nice sitting area downstairs with daily papers and access to dining area for tea and coffee. afternoon tea provided each day and the 2 course breakfast superb, cooked individually included foods like poached pears and fruits, muesli,bacon and eggs of all kinds which were eggcellent😉Free safe car parking. Hosts and staff provided excellent service.

This is a boutique hotel which works very hard to provide every service and comfort to visitors. The owners commitment is obvious from before your stay with emails offering valuable information about local restaurants, giving recommendations and offering to make bookings. We arrived late but the instructions left for check in were easy and comprehensive. They also provided suggested itineraries and tourist information. The room was attractive and very comfortable with lovely touches such as homemade cakes and port. Breakfast was outstanding as was the friendly service. The lounge and courtyard gardens were lovely!

Craig, the proprietor, greeted us and gave us a fantastic summary of what we should see in Albany with orientation on a map. Set us up at an excellent restaurant (Lime 303 at Dog Rock) and surprised us with hot tea and delicious scones after our first venture out. (BTW, If you are a golfer, the property is adjacent to Albany Country Club where the public can play quit reasonably.) The breakfast included was excellent. No negatives to this property in our opinion.

A warm welcome from Joan. Straight away we felt the calm ambience of the Beach house.Our room was beautifully furnished and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable and the shower excellent. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and professional.The gardens were tranquil. All in all a fabulous place to stay. Will definitely return

DIVINE!! Staff were EXCEPTIONAL. Room was beautiful, comfortable & spotlessly clean. Breakfast was outstanding! Facilities were incredible & those extra little touches “afternoon tea in the glass dome in our room, the port & chocies every evening, the water bottles daily” … too many things to explain … HONESTLY, what a superstar accomodation experience it was. WELL done to you all involved with this facility. THANK YOU we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Everything!!! We were awestruck upon our arrival! Our hosts Sally and Craig!! They oozed with enthusiasm, always smiling with a spring in their steps!! They were incredibly welcoming and made us feel so special!! Oh it’s our home away from home! Peaceful, cozy and oozed with love and care. You’ll notice it the moment you enter the front door!! Beautify decorated, modern, fresh smelling (none of that musty smell) and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was an absolute delight! Lots of eggless options for those who don’t eat eggs or are vegetarian. 6 star quality and ample portions. Service was quick. Bed and pillows were heavenly including the crisp linen which ensured we slept like babies every night and woke up incredibly refreshed in the morning! In fact the pillows were so good we called into a bedding store on our way home to purchase similar pillows!! We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked to return in a couple of weeks with family members!

Require a small bin in the ensuite and bin in room wasn’t emptied on a daily basis.

Sally and Craig were amazing, thank you. It was our first time to Albany and upon greeting us, Sally was on hand to give us lots of tourist info. She went one step further and looked into hiring a kayak for the next day. Breakfast was also delicious with impeccable service and quality from Craig and his team. Thank you to all the staff who were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They also provided a little afternoon sweet each night - very delicious 😋 Would definitely stay there again and reccomend to anyone to stay there.

Would have been lovely if they also provided dinner service, but Sally is on hand to help reccomend places that are only a few minutes drive away (I was just being lazy 😅). Walls are a little thin as I could hear conversations from the front desk as we were in the main house. We also had bad luck on the first night with the people next door having their TV on until 4.30am but that wasn't the hotels fault, luckily they checked out the next day.

Clean, bright, well kept grounds, friendly staff and healthy simple breakfast.

Not much, was very good. Could have used an extra blanket in the room as I feel the cold but hubby do any so didn't want to use air con, but was a minor thing, overall a lovely place to stay.
