Quest on William

The two bedroom apartment was a good size and all amenities in the kitchen worked well. The bathroom had had an update and was clean and fresh. One of the bedrooms was unusual in that it had no windows but we kept the double doors open and used the light from the living area so as not to feel closed in. The staff on the front desk were excellent. I had requested early check-in due to a very early arrival and my husband having health issues and even though the room was not ready when we arrived we did not have to wait very long. This was much appreciated. The staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Across the road from a tram stop.

When you are travelling with accessability issues it is a little difficult for pick up and drop off of Taxis and Ubers. There is a cycle way out the front and the Ubers stopped across the road and my husband had to walk over to them which was difficult for him. Later in our stay we discovered there is a lane with a parking bay nearby that the Taxis are happy to stop in. The bedroom door on the second bedroom does not close and needs attention.

The location. 10 minute walk to Quuen Vic Markets. 10 minute walk to the mall. Two blocks from Spencer Street Station. Trams easy to access. Room was fantastically clean on arrival. Booked with a verandah on the front which made it feel more open and bring in the fresh air. Good to have amenities in the room like a washing machine and some basic cooking ability. I really loved the amazing receptionist when we checked out. The HAPPIEST person I have met at checkout. So bright, bubbly and helpful. Really made our day : )

It was all as expected really. We were on level 4 and could still hear street noise but the windows and doors in the rooms made it suitably muffled. I would definitely book again ; )

Options of self-catering in the apartment or going out in a central location. Quiet at night.

Quest warns that it may take up to 5 days to refund a credit card deposit paid on arrival. Not the fault of the very lovely staff, but should be reconsidered.

This appartment definitely suited our needs...although the hotel overall is dated this room was amazing to explore the city day & night and was comforting to come home to rest after 2 long days venturing. The staff were extremely helpful despite my payment changes...really accessible to the cities great food and scenery...value for money indeed 😊

Front entrance meeds some attention a bit of folage to brighten up the waiting area would be alot more welcoming or when customers are departing 😊

Luckily we didn't need the fry pan as th3 one in the room had a broken handle. Was asked to pay a $300 bond when checking in and when I asked the man if it was actually going to come out of my account because ide have no money then, he said, no no all good. It did come out. I'm still waiting to get it back and currently have no money. 😒

Good location, comfortable room.

It was difficult to get in when we first arrived. I rang ahead to check parking was available and was told that it was but when we arrived we were told there was no parking on site. Our friends also stayed at the same time and they arrived after us and were given parking on site.

Great location close to southern cross station. I also liked that it had kitchen facilities and it was spacious

We had a room on the second floor that faced William street and it was really noisy! It appeared that the windows were double glazed but it was super noisy still; especially as the tram stop is right out front. Not great if you’re a light sleeper! It also had two keys- one to get in the building and one for the rooms. Not really an issue but one would have been easier.

We stayed at this property for the formula 1 and was pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a bigger room at no extra cost. Furthermore, the property was in a very convenient location and staff were lovely!

There was some construction at the hotel but it didn’t have a significant impact on our stay.

Location, views, perfect size for 2 people, good lifts, security, quiet and very comfortable in all aspects. Also good washing and drying facilities. Excellent hot water and shower.

The kitchen and bathroom plugs leaked.

Great location and the staff were very helpful. One room was not ready for check in but they had arranged the second room to be available for early arrival.

No mirror in second bedroom for getting ready and the bathroom was occupied. Everything thing else was great.
