Hawthorn Gardens Serviced Apartments

Proximity to where we needed to be. Secure Parking. Later checkout than usual was a benefit to us. Friendly hosts. Gorgeous gardens with prolifically flowering Camellias when we stayed.

Previous guests have damaged bench tops & cooking equipment, sadly. We stayed 2 times over 2 weeks, in two different apartments, and both had been damaged by inconsiderate guests. Taking that into consideration, however, we would definitely stay there again as the apartments were spacious & comfortable. I would note also that, although we accepted some oversight with the cleaning of the kitchen appliances, Management should look at this area of maintenance on a regular basis to lift the presentation of the property from this perspective. Very comfortable and clean. Felt like home. Centrally located to city and tourist attractions. Easy access. Stress free booking and arrival at property. Great heating and washing facilities. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy lounge area and easy access to WiFi and Foxtel.

Stayed over weekend and shared access at rear of property quite noisy on Friday and Saturday nights with party-goers returning to base at 2, 3 and 4 am. Access to shower not ideal, stepping into bath and balancing...

Overall a great unit. We were a little concerned as the reviews were not great. A great place to stay, friendly staff, clean unit, washing machine and dryer, parking on site, close to shops. Only complaint was the bed was hard. The gardens could probably use some up keep. We would definitely stay again as we were in Melbourne for a holiday not to sit in our accommodation all day

Beds too hard

it was very clean, had a lot to offer with the kitchen appliances and dinner area and family room set up! was great as a family to also have the tv with options on the channels. the beds we’re comfortable and clean. great to have our car off the main road and our own car park area. we couldn’t fault anything. the reception man was very friendly and welcoming.

Full 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen facilities though only used microwave and kettle. Washing machine and dryer available in apartment. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Could walk to supermarket/small shopping centre. Great shower.

Decor a little tired, microwave and some of the cups needed a clean- guests asked to clean own dishes so may have been missed by staff.

There is a lot of space. We got everything we need! There is a provided parking space. Beds were comfortable! They have kindly accommodated our request for a two single beds on the other room instead of a queen! Will be recommending this place to my friends and will def book again this place when we visit Melbourne

Sounds from outside can be heard from the room pretty easily. But otherwise, our stay has been great!

The apartments are spacious and clean with a shopping centre and supermarket a few minutes up the road. Comfortable for families and groups we regularly stay their with our international student groups. It is good value for money and there is easy access by train to the cbd. We look forward to our next stay

The apartment was airy and spacious. The kitchen was big, as was the bathroom with the laundry washing machine and dryer. Close proximity to both Coles and Woolworths was a plus.

The apartment was located on a busy road and you hear hear some road noise. The crockery and kitchen utilities could be updated (I'm sure I could have requested more).

The apartment is always clean, the staff are always lovely and are willing to help last minute, couldn't rate it higher

The car park entrance was too low for our car to get in with a luggage pod on the top, it said 2 metres and we needed at the minimum 2.1 but not something i can fault the hotel for.

The accommodation was very clean. Staff has high attention to detail, and everything was planned out with no hassle check-in and check out. Highly recommended.

Freezer wasn't working properly, and the bathroom decor is a bit outdated with old style water mixers and a small bathtub.
