Breakfast was absolutely delicious and I love ❤️ where you are situated

The only complaint I have is we stayed here with the full intention of dining in the restaurant also Whenever I tried to book for the restaurant it kept saying you can't because it's a private function Actually rang the restaurant and explained what was occurring and was able to book a table for the night BUT then proceeded to get a call back saying sorry but your booking is cancelled because it's a private function On arrival we had a drink at the bar while waiting for our room and see a sign saying that there are actually tables available for dinner????????? Very confusing

Location facilities and cleanliness

When a wedding is in progress the staff could be a bit abrupt and selective towards service to guests. Some bar staff gave table service to other guests however not to us. Told we are busy with wedding made us feel inferior and to quote “you won’t be getting table service for drinks from this bar” However the guests at the next table in lounge area had drinks bought to them on a tray by bar personnel. Treat all guests the same and don’t inform guests of how busy the wedding makes you. Customer service is essential

Very well situated property beside the Yarra river and walk. Very spacious lounges and has a relaxing vibe. Room clean, well planned and ventilated. Good bathroom. Parking.

Parking was a paid option. Many places of similar standard offer complimentary parking so this was a miss for me. Coffee at breakfast was automated and included in the price. Better to opt for their barista coffee and pay extra. This could have been included in the tariff for breakfast.

Amora Hotel was beautiful! The property itself was located next to a huge open space that would of been an absolutely lovely walk if we had the time to do so. The trams were very close and convenient to take when heading into the CBD. The staff were very helpful and kind towards us that made the experience warm and inviting. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities that suited my friends and I for the weekend. The property was easy to navigate and I love the decor of the place! Parking was also easy.

Spa bath and hot water was great. Desk and chair were handy. Balcony may suit being enclosed. Handy location to river and Richmond. Nice walks in the area. Easy Uber to a lot of places. Restaurant food for dinner was delicious and the drink from the bar was tasty and the right level of strength.

New gym was handy, but ok with some hybrid machines a little difficult to work out. Neighbouring room balcony had nosy people rudely looking back at into my room so curtains drawn most times making room darker. Bed was too soft for me. I had to do back exercises in the morning to counter the softness.

The staff were exceptional. The room service meal was prompt and delicious. The reception decor was immaculate. The room was very clean. The bath was bliss and the accessibility to the tv was excellent. I hadn't experienced the ability to stream from my device in a hotel before.

I was upgraded but I assume it was to cater to another booking requiring a queen bed (mine was twin beds). Soundproofing between rooms wasn't great but I imagine the adjoining door between my room and the neighbours didn't help to muffle the talking from next door.

Room came with a fold out couch so we could have 2 beds which totally suited us. The room was quite large and I loved the shower, taps were excellent.

The music in the outside bar could be heard in all apartments so sleep-ins was out of the question as was enjoying your room during the day, too bad if you wanted a snooze the empty outside bar Christmas Carol was going to interrupt your sleep.

Breakfast was superb. All staff ( F&B staff, front officers, housekeepers) are so friendly and helpful. I love hotel’s location; near to the trampoline, near to Swinburne University and near to Yarra Riverwalk. ***The most important thing for me, I must say this.. I would like to thank and pay tribute to the honesty of all the housekeeping staff who came to clean my room during 22-28 July, 2022. I completely forgot to keep any cash (multi-currency cash such as Singapore Dollars, Australian Dollars,Malaysia Ringgit and Thai baht), gold necklace and 2 gold rings iPhone 13 Pro Max and laptop in the safety box. I sincerely appreciate the honesty of all employees from housekeeping department. I did not keep all my valuables since first day till last day of my staying. All items are intact. And my personal belongings were arranged neatly.

The location is wonderful: by the river, close to lovely walks and the city with the tram just outside and only ten minutes walk to Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre. It's great to have the feeling of spaciousness in the foyer and plenty of spots to have a drink or meal. We had rooms on the top levels with wonderful views from the balconies.

There were a few minor maintenance issues with our apartment.

Super surprised on the overall property, quality and professionalism of the staff. Cos it was Richmond I was expecting a smaller town private chain mentality. Not a big city international style level of service. Rooms were huge and balcony's insanely large, which I had no use for in cold in winter with one person.

Found the food zones downstairs confusing. The menu at the bar wasn't anything to do with the restaurant menu. Didn't really like being forced to eat the bar actual meals not as sit down at tables. Just seemed weird and arbitrary. I wanted to eat food at a table not around a couch but having said that, the food was delicious and had a few vegan options too.
