City Edge East Melbourne Apartment Hotel

All was lovely though the bed was a little toooo low for me, I am a tall person. Would have liked not using the stairs as my knees did get a good work out. Rooms were central to our needs, we like walking around the streets of Melb. And quiet location.

As I mentioned before, the bed was tooo low for me and hoping next time I rent somewhere that has a lift. OOhh the shower, although nice was a little trixie getting in and out, the washing machine was close to the shower which I used for support.

No frills budget accommodation in a great location walk to everything. This was perfect for our trip. Treasury room was spacious, quiet and clean, and we got one with a lovely view over a park as I requested. Very pleasant stay.

It's a bit dated, not taking away from functionality though. Not much water comes out when showering and the trick to getting the water temperature right is first turning the hot on full blast and then adding cold very very gradually, otherwise the hot will cut off.

Great location nestled between Melbourne CBD and Richmond. It was within walking distance of trams, although not conveniently close. Liked that it had 2 bedrooms and a spacious kitchen with full size dishwasher, fridge and freezer.

Kitchen window did not open (knob was broken and left un-repaired) which meant there was no airflow during cooking, particularly important because kitchen did not have an extraction fan or range hood. Had a large double bed but it lacked a decent doona, we were provided with only a modest blanket in mid-winter!! Heating available only in the bedrooms, living area was cold. General cleanliness is a 6 rating due to the dust and debris around skirting boards.

Everything we needed for our stay was offered in this apartment. Eg, kitchen facilities, two sleeping areas, eating and sitting area, and bathroom were roomy. Great location. I will definitely look at booking with them again when I next go to Melbourne.

The only complaint is carrying our luggage upstairs as we were moved to another location they have just down the road.

Great location. Parking felt safe. Quiet area. Room was basic but all we needed for 1 night.

Room needed a decent clean. Lots of marks on the walls. There was a sock left behind from previous people. Water damage/leak on the wall which left a bit wet patch on the carpet in the hallway. 1 bedside table and 1 lamp in main bedroom seemed a little odd. Only 3 mugs for a 5 person stay and some of the complimentary soaps had been used.

Absolutely loved the staff, so very understanding and they were there for any time we needed them. Actually, I would say the staff here running the place would have to be the nicest people I have ever met when staying in rented places. You would be welcomed with loving arms here. There is a park near by if staying with children. Across the road there are shops when wanting a few things or something to eat. Everything was perfect for us. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

This is a great location. Our 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious. We have stayed here many times. It is so easy to walk to the AO Tennis or MCG. Tram and train stops are also within walking distance.

It was a good-sized apartment. The beds were comfortable. There was a good-sized kitchen

There was a very big step to get into the shower cubicle. The fripan and sauce pan were old, and there was an egg slide at all.

The size of the rooms plus the kitchen was complete, great layout close to everything...

The only problem was the Fridge liked a bit... have yo say that was the only problem.

Pots and pans had been burnt at some time and weren’t usable. Would have liked mugs instead of cups for coffee/tea but that’s a small thing
