East Brunswick Hotel

The location was perfect walking distance to the event we where attending over the weekend and found parking with ease. Food offering in house and on the Main Street was of abundance. A little noisy if you are an early sleeper though. We didn’t realise there was a private bar for guest until we where leaving which was a shame as we wasn’t told about it at all. The room was beautiful and clean. Though it could have done with a table and chairs in the room, as we had no place to eat our food that we ordered from the hotel and had to move the vase and lamp to use the side tables to eat our food in comfort. Assess in and out of the building was secure and private.

Beautifully decorated rooms. Great room facilities. Clean and self contained. Secured and comfortable rooms. Very convenient with Tram access. Close to the city. Great food service in the bar/restaurant. Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff.

Loud noise/music after hours due to the bar downstairs. After hours housekeeping service not readily Contactable nor available.

We loved the decor and the proximity to restaurants and cafes. It was so easy to use the fob and the staff were really pleasant. We could highly recommend this to any age travellers.

Our only complaint would be the aircon outside our bedroom - The Churchill room, was quite noisy and on constantly - perhaps it could be sound proofed or the window double glazed as this wouldnt open anyway.

Great location, generous room, decor with character

Finger size gaps between the sash windows and frame. Lets in air and also rattles in the wind. If they put in some window sealing strips it would solve this. I ended up jamming bits of paper in there to stop the rattling which is not what you want in a premium hotel

The hotel was exactly like the pictures. The bed was extremely comfy and the amenities were perfect, there was nothing to fault. Perfect for a few nights away.

It was a perfect location for me and the room and bathroom were beautiful. BUT, it was way too expensive considering I heard the pub noise below. Price was similar to finer hotels I have stayed in in the city. The price showing in the Booking.com site was more realistic! Not happy about the price going UP on a Friday night!

Staff were really great, very helpful and felt extremely safe traveling alone. The TV was broken from a previous guest and the hotel hadn't realised as you can't tell when the TV is turned off, the hotel staff apologised and offered me a free wine.

The fridge hadn't been cleaned from a previous guest, but it wasn't that important as I didn't need to use the fridge.

Very nice chandeliers and ambiance in the rooms. Very comfy bed and clean room. Great showers and bathroom.

We found no cups and plates but then found them dirty in the dish washer. There was a rumble like a constant industrial fan running underneath the floor the whole time vibrating the floor. My husband wasn’t bothered by it but it kept me awake.

The noise. Lots of noise in the hallway and extremely loud on Friday and Saturday nights from the live music which stupidly we weren’t expecting. Our room was directly over the entertainment area

Lovely staff, great location. The room was big and comfy.

Saturday night was really loud until about 12pm. The curtain near the bed didn’t close all the way so was quite bright for sleeping.
