Red Bridge Motor Inn

Everything ! This is the third time I have stayed at the Red Bridge Motor Inn and was delighted they had availability when I needed to stay back on the Sunshine Coast . As I said in previous reviews , this property is excellent in terms of comfort and facilities - a top class motel !! Has everything one needs for a comfortable stay . Super comfy bed , clean AS room , great air con , great tv options , quiet location … excellent 👍👍

Nothing I didn’t like - my number one choice of accommodation when needing to stay on Sunshine Coast .

I booked this place based on other positive reviews and was not disappointed! The family rooms are really spacious - the kids had their own room down the end which was great. Despite being near to a main road it was quiet. Office staff were friendly and helpful and we got a late checkout too which was much appreciated. Beds were comfortable. All in all it is an old-school motel in the best possible way, with old fashioned comfort and service.

Although its nice to have an extra room, that was the only side that had windows so once the kids went into their lair and closed the door, the only way to get any airflow was via the bathroom windows.

Location was handy to lots of kid friendly tourist activities and multiple historic townships with good cafes and nice main streets. Place was quiet, clean, in good condition and comfortable. staff were friendly and helpful. Air con worked well and quietly in the hot humid conditions.

The food on site that we had was good except the fish, which was very powdery. Salad was fresh, chips, pasta, parmy etc were all fine.

Room was clean, breakfast was delivered and good. Had dinner on one night we stayed. It was very good. Overall prices for the entire area was on the expensive side, but this was to be expected in the present climate.

Parking was a bit tight, especially for the bigger vehicles and it was first come, first served as to where you parked. But no real problems with the parking overall. You just had to pay attention when backing in.

I have stayed at this property at least eight times but have never eaten at the restaurant for dinner. I believe it is the Sunshine Coast best kept secret as the food was extraordinary. True pub meals done extremely well. I was so impressed that I would actually come all the way back here just for dinner.

The rooms could do with a good thorough, deep clean certain things in the bathroom were a little dilapidated and needed fixing, but nothing that impacted the trip.

Liked - everything 👍. Only stayed overnight but would definitely stay again . The rooms were very large and comfortable . Comfy AS bed and pillows , a couch was an extra comfort bonus as was table and chairs . Air con AMAZING and much needed in QLD summer ! Good tv reception . Very clean and everything thought of for a comfortable stay . Nice quiet position . 👍👍👍. High class motel for sure ⭐️

Couldn’t fault anything during my stay .

I arrived early and was able to check in when the room was ready. Roomy and comfortable spa bath. Dined at the Restaurant and had a lovely meal at reasonable prices. Very comfortable bed. Staff were all friendly and down to earth. Smokers are accommodated by ashtrays in the parking bays, and a lounge chair under the trees out front of the hotel. 20 minutes from Maroochydore / Mooloolaba, or Mapleton up on the Blackall Range. Just as comfortable and cheaper than most accommodation in these areas. If you have your own transport, this is a great alternative to the beach or the mountain as a base to stay. A perfect middle between the two.

The staff were very gracious when we had to cancel my colleague’s room last minute due to illness, they fully reimbursed the nights accommodation. My request for a quiet room, away from the main road was more than met, and I was upgraded to a family suite in a very quiet area of the motel. There is a restaurant on site. I chose this accommodation as I’ve stayed there before, and I will most certainly stay again in the future. Thank you very much.

Booked this room at the last minute - unexpected stay so was after hours check-in. The staff/owner was wonderfully understanding and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed and it was quiet with blinds to cut out the light if we wanted. Spacious with a good sized shower, and had a full length mirror. Bed was lovely and comfortable with great pillows.

The only thing I ever want is more milk for my cup of tea! (But usually I bring my own for that reason). There is nothing we didn’t like about the property.

The wonderful staff, they were so helpful and friendly. Room so clean and airery and plenty of room inside.

The way to get from where you part your car to the steps , were you take your luggage to your room. Was hard with moving luggage with wheels on them.Undercar parking was great.
