Malibu Apartments

The view was as in the photos. The kitchen was well appointed and the living room area was comfortable and afforded a great ocean view. Jade on reception was very personable and an asset. The other staff did not seem particularly professional or adept to being on the front desk.

The garbage shute in each apartment is antiquated and noisy - it should be decommissioned. The bed was too big for the bedroom and barely gave enough room to enter the ensuite. It was obvious that the larger bedroom had been locked off. The ensuite bathroom desperately needs refurbishment as the shower screen was unstable and the room looked tired.

This place was pretty good. Rooms had everything we needed. 2nd bedroom was a little cramped, no bedside tables. Bathrooms were great. Kitchen had everything and lounge was comfy. I chose this place because of the pool and it was absolutely freezing. I got in it once and it was not enjoyable. Way too cold. Loved the rooms and staff were very friendly and very helpful but I wouldnt stay here again due to the pool being unusable Great acess to Mooloolabah waterfront. Excellent location

Location was amazing, directly opposite the beach and right in the middle of restaurants and bars. Easy walk to everything. Wonderful view. The staff very friendly and helpful.

The design of the apartment meant that the aircon unit in the living area - which was great - didn’t quite reach to the back bedroom so it was uncomfortably hot, even with fans. Also for a 2br unit there was only one small comfortable sofa, the other 2 chairs were like school desk chairs.

slightly older apartment but very comfortable

We were in a level 2 apartment with a courtyard for a long weekend. The location is great, straight across the road from the beach. Easy access to the car park. This particular apartment had a very large front courtyard with a great view over the beach and Mooloolaba walkways. The unit was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and even some sharp knives. Foxtel on the TV is a nice bonus. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean and great water pressure in the showers. The managers were very friendly and responded quickly to a minor issue we had. Good value for money for Mooloolaba beachfront, I would stay here again.

There is only one air conditioner unit in the lounge. This was a very hot and humid weekend so we had to have the AC on an arctic setting in the lounge to get some cold air to spread into the bedrooms. The bedrooms do have ceiling fans that help.

The most clean and perfect size 2 bedroom apartment for our family of 4. The property was in the best location, walking distance to everything and we had the most incredible ocean view room.

The only thing we would have loved was a more family friendly pool at the apartment. The pool is the one depth with no steps which makes it difficult for little kids. There was a spa which was useful however.

Location excellent. View of ocean excellent. Property different shape but contained all necessities. Beach straight across road.

Only complaint was size and position of underground car park. When, after several attempts to manoeuvre, I managed to park the car in the designated spot, I could not open the car rear door to remove luggage. Parked car overnight in a parking station around the corner. (No fee between 5pm and 8am).

Very clean and tidy, friendly staff and very helpful. Great location and great views from evey apartment, good and easy parking.

Rubbish shoot in kitchen was very noisy, every time the guest in the apartment beside you put something in it you knew about it. Bathroom pipes were a bit smelly, they need some draino.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The ensuite shower was amazing (great pressure, space and heat)!! The kitchen contained everything we needed. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic!

I was very disappointed that I was unable to have a hot spa, especially as we chose this apartment for its proximity to the spa (the spa was luke warm). The Wifi was poor, and although Foxtel was provided, I was unable to access other pay tv options. The garbage chute in the centre of the apartment was very noisy when being accessed by other apartments.

The position was perfect and the apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed Friendly staff who were not in your face.

Lounge and bed are showing their age..not as comfortable as they could be. Air con in the bedroom would be good as ventilation isn't great.
