Regency on the Beach

The location is amazing :) View is incredible

The apartment is a bit dated (furnishings, appliances etc) Also, I know it's not the Hotels fault, there are clear no-smoking stickers on the door to the balcony but when you are standing on the balcony trying to get some nice fresh ocean air and people on the adjacent balconies are smoking it really ruins the atmosphere (not to mention is effecting my families health with their 2nd hand smoke). This happened constantly throughout our stay.

The location was very good with lovely beach views. Really enjoyed being so close to the Surf Club as this made it very easy for meals and entertainment. It was most unfortunate that the unit was on the South side and, therefore, no sun during a very cold period and unable to make much use of the balcony (nothing they could do about the weather!) I would certainly stay at this property again, however, would prefer North side of building.

Originally, I was travelling alone and booked a studio, however, was a little crowded for two when, due to weather, we were unable to use the balcony. I was most disappointed to find that we were given only one set of bath and hand towels to last for our 5 days (only replaced after 7 days)! Additional towels were available AT AN EXTRA COST - this is not really acceptable when you are paying higher prices than motel rooms where they will change every day if required.

The location and view were excellent. The reception staff were awesome too. It was very clean 😊. Easy access from the carpark to the unit.

The pool was out of order due to maintenance/repair issues. There was some mould on the ceiling above the shower. Of most concern was the unit's front door handle. It was very loose and a security concern. I brought it to the attention of reception staff. They were very helpful and said it would be looked into. This wasn't done during the remainder of my stay but I'm hopeful that it will be taken care of in due course. The garbage chutes on each level were out of order due to health and safety issues.

The location and view were fabulous and made up For a few little niggles. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. Overall the apartment was of a good size and there were just enough pots and crockery to make breakfast and a few meals. The machine machine and tumble drier were very useful. Balcony view enabled us to whale watch.

The apartment does need some maintenance- for example where a new wifi was fitted the bare plaster hadn’t been repaired or repainted. The ironing board was broken and although I’d asked for another it never happened. There is supposed to be a service on day 8. This didn’t happen until day 10 - lack of bedding from their supplier. There were small holes in the curtains and this didn’t quite fit and shut out the light. Not all big things but if the rest hadn't been so good then would have made our review rather negative. It just needs to have a bit of care and attention. The grounds and reception were always clean, tidy and was well maintained.

The view was excellent. Easy access to the beach, and also had views of the hinterland. There was a decent size tv in the lounge area and a smaller one in the bedroom, seldom seem in our travels. 50metres or so to the Surf Club was a bonus for afternoon drinks and the meals were good. The unit had all the facilities that make for a comfortable stay.

The bed for us was a bit hard, but that is a personal feel, I guess. The linen was of good standard. Except for the Surf club, eating places were a fair distance away. Cable stations were not hooked up, you had to do a chrome google connect through your phone or ipad, or something to that effect.

We stayed at Regency at the Beach for a cheerleading event. We had a room on the top floor with a view of the beach. When we walked into the apartment, it was clean, and we were blown away by the spaciousness of the apartment and the lovely decor. We loved the pool and the fact it was located on the beach. We had a sea view, which was wonderful to wake up to every morning and to sit on the balcony and watch the sun rise and set. The reception staff were extremely helpful.

It was a bit far from Broadbeach, Gold Coast and there was no Coles or Woolworths within walking distance or restaurants. There were no cleaning products in the apartment to wipe down the benches and table. There was no dishwashing liquid, we had to ask for extra dishwashing powder, which reception were happy to provide.

The 1 bedroom apartment had everything in it...comfortable bed and excellent water pressure in the shower.

The place doesn't have a gym

Rooms were clean, decent amount of space. Big wardrobe and mirror. Nice to have a balcony. Lovely view of the beach. Manager and receptionist very pleasant. Beds comfy. Good WiFi but unfortunately our chrome cast in our room wasn’t working.

Had a bit of trouble checking in as the reception was closed and the people on the phone lines didn’t seem to know anything about our booking which was a shame. Luckily the property manager was there who helped us. Staff member from the hotel was then parked in our allocated parking spot which again caused us a bit of confusion. Room was quite smelly as it was next to the bin room but that can’t be helped! Shame our chrome cast wasn’t working. Other than that, nothing wrong with the hotel and it’s good for a few nights to stay!

Love the beach and mountain view. Great apartment's size and clean. Staff member very friendly and helpful. Public transport is so easy and convenient. Walking distance to the nearest cafe. Very peaceful. Bed is very comfortable. Complete kitchenette. Outdoor spa and swimming pool. Easy access to the beach. They also have sauna.

Spa button was not working properly but we were still enjoyed to just sit in it. The unit/room could've been better with regular and proper maintenance.

The room had a view of the beach. It was close to the beach and the Tallebudgera Surf Lifesaving Patrol Area. The Surf Club is about 100 metres away and has good meals and bar service. The room(a one bedroom for two gueats) was a little bit worn but very comfortable. I would consider staying there again.

It wasn't very handy to shops in a walking distance but we only stayed a couple of night so this wasn't important. Apart from that I have no complaints.
