The Sedgebrook On Leichhardt

For me the location was excellent, my wife was in St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, short 15 minute walk up Leichhardt Street every morning to the hospital, the apartment on the 4th floor was well presented, outdoor balcony looking at the lights of Brisbane, great, the washing machine and drier allowed me to do my wife's on a regular basis during her 10 day stay, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, great place to stay.

Handrail at the wall end of the bath, opposite end to shower, to make it a bit safer for getting in and out the shower.

We loved the use of the washing machine and dryer as we’d been away for a week in Sydney so could wash our clothes. The balcony was really nice as well to sit outside and have your morning coffee.

The steep hill to get to the property from the city centre was quite hard and would have been no good for older people

Such a great little spot in the best location just a short walk to the city, with plenty of cafes and food nearby. The apartment was roomy and felt like home with everything needed for a longer stay. Even though I was on the second floor the balcony still had beautiful city views! The host Na was super friendly and accomodating to anything I needed. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again next time :)

The only very small issue I had was the traffic noise from the second floor with the windows open at night. This was remedied by closing the windows and using the air con.

the staff (Nah) was very friendly and welcoming. the checkin process was very quick and efficient. the service we received from Nah remained kind and accommodating throughout our entire stay, including the checkout process. the room itself was the perfect size (for two adults), was nice and clean upon entry and had everything we needed.

That I had to leave because my stay was over.

loved the simplicity of how it is laid out, and that it has dryer and washer, and all the bits and pieces, I added a bit of my own comfort as we extended with blankets and transform it from basic to beautiful

didn’t like the hot water being non existent early hours of morning or that some parts were a little dusty and no sound on TV

Staff exceptional...very accommodating in any of our requests....great location to our medical Appts... Fantastic views of the city.. Great car parking facility....

We were near the lift which meant people coming and going at different times during the night...it as quite noisy due to this...other issue we were given a carpark place by management, someone put quite a nasty note on our car saying we would be fined $400 for parking here...even though once management were made aware they didn’t seem concerned, but it did make us feel uneasy...however the car parking is generous and very reasonable for safety sake it’s worth it....our last stay in Brisbane saw our car broken into....the car parking here is safe and very secure....

It’s so central to all my needs. Breakfast cafe across the road & other bars/pubs. Park up the road & walking distance to Central Station. Well priced for the size of the unit, especially the added bonus of a balcony & full kitchen.

No eating facilities attached. Units are a little tired but appropriately priced and clean

All the comforts of home provided, freshly renovated. Well appointed modern kitchen. Good laundry with washer & dryer. Outdoor area roomy with lovely views to the CBD. Free city bus stop minutes away. Easy walk to most inner city attractions

No ventilation in bathroom

Amazing location, just meters away from Brisbane cbd and 2 blocks away from the beautiful Roma Parkland. A fairly spacious apartment with balcony. The city view from the balcony made my days and nights even better. Na is a very friendly and helpful manager, always there for all requests.

Great location close to city and hospitals. Checked in on a Sunday so no reception open. However, only waited a few minutes for someone to arrange check-in. Not as clean as some up market establishments however understandable considering the budget price. Relatively quiet on top floor with limited traffic noise. Good secure parking underneath building. Cafes and convenience stores nearby.

Nothing really. Suited our purposes.
