Belconnen Way Hotel & Serviced Apartments

It was great, super comfortable, spacious and the convenience of having a kitchenette in it so we didn’t even need to go out every night. The staff were super friendly offending suggestions on what to go see during the day. Also accomodating for being able to give us a room a night early for us being early. Heaps of parking underground or undercover or out in the open.

The beds were a little uncomfortable but still comfortable to sleep all night. But besides that still great!

Booked two rooms, a 2-bedroom apartment and a standard room. The apartment was older but spacious, had a decent size lounge room with AC and a TV in every room and a huge bathroom with a separate bath and shower and double basins. Wifi was provided as well. One room had a queen bed and the other a double and a single. Beds were comfortable enough. Didn’t stay in the standards room so can’t comment. The place was great value and we had a comfortable stay and would happily come back.

Minor thing but the kitchen light bulbs needed replacing. Three out of four bulbs were broken.

Beds were very comfortable. The rooms were big enough for our needs and the kitchen equipment was also quite useful with good sized bowls for breakfast and mugs and glasses for any drinks. Washing up facilities were basic but that's ok. The rooms stayed quite comfortably warm despite the cool Canberra nights.

Nothing really but the bathroom door latch did not close .... no problem for us as few ere all family also the door between the rooms also did not close fully but again that was no real problem.

Staff were very accommodating on arrival and checking out. The room was clean and tidy and the bed and shower were great. We were only in Canberra for a couple of days but we didn’t realise that the hotel was as far away from the city area. I know we should have looked on the map a bit better.

The floor in the shower was very slippery, I pointed it out to the receptionist on leaving, she will tell management. For the size of the studio there should be more than one lounge chair as my partner sat on it and I had to sit on the bed to watch TV. There could be another chair or maybe a two seater lounge there is plenty of room

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. We would have appreciated a few more forks though. There were only three. Minor detail however. We did have a wheelchair for mum but could not use it to get from the car into the building as there was no ramp. There was a lift inside though which made it a bit easier.

Wonderful helpful professional welcoming and friendly staff, comfortable spacious clean room, good sleep. Bathroom was good, too. Undercover car parking. Close to everything I wanted to do, including a good bowling club within walking distance. Close to shops, again within walking distance. Easy to get to all the attractions I was interested in. Will return soon.

Not a lot of natural light, however I didn't have a lot of time in my room - can do that at home. I was their for a holiday, so was out doing what I enjoy.

The room was great value for money. They heating was lovely, barely felt the cold staying in -2°C weather. The room was clean and tidy, and there were other services available as we needed them. Reception staff were lovely and very prompt with check in and check out, and other staff we met during our stay were friendly and helpful.

Could not find any faults.

Beds were comfortable, Kitchenette was well equipped, close to shops and GIO Stadium, excellent water pressure in the shower

The sponge on the sink wasn’t very useful, the walls were very thin and we could here the arguments going on between other guests, the TV wasn’t very easy to use, couldn’t find the Foxtel channels at all

The proximity to the softball grounds, bus stop and the supermarket. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

I needed a tea towel, dish cloth and some detergent so I could clean my mug. A cereal bowl, plate and cutlery would have been handy.

Spacious room. Friendly staff on arrival. I liked that we could park in the underground garage. We stayed two nights and found the bed to be very comfortable. Wifi worked great and it was handy having Woolworths right next door if we needed anything.

No hand towels or face washers were provided. Also no tea towel for drying the dishes.
