Days Inn by Wyndham Luray Shenandoah

I liked that it was quiet, away from traffic, clean, with a fridge that worked well so able to refreeze my 2 ice bricks for my travel cooler, and responsive when I had a later arrival that originally planned. I needed two rooms and they were together as requested. Lobby was bright and easy to find. Morning coffee was good and fresh.

No "continental breakfast" as was advertised on the booking site, only granola bars and coffee. No coffee maker in the room. The electronic clock radio had two USB ports but one of those got pushed in making it inaccessible, so I had to rely on my USB plug I always have packed. Both rooms were listed as nonsmoking, but one of the rooms was obviously smoked in enough that everyone in my group noticed it, and I could even smell the odor through my CPAP facemask filter. My bed squeaked when I rolled over. And, The previous day and all night it rained, and the room was faintly damp but after an hour of turning on the ac-heat unit to the warm setting it was comfortable.

The beds and chair in room were very comfortable. The refrig was working so able to keep items cold during stay. It was a peaceful environment both inside and outside the hotel, which made it easy to relax.

Although there was a beautiful pool it was closed, the breakfast was little to nothing. The staff did offer a list of places to eat in the area but this added to our expenses and traveling time. The landscaping was beautiful, however the cleanliness of the walkways/pass through hall could use some cleaning and maintenance. The bathroom floors could be cleaner.

The “breakfast” was just coffee and granola bars. Also staff allowed other guest to park motorcycles right by office door/ by guest room. So not only did we have to walk around them to leave but late at night when they arrived and at 5 am when they left we were disturbed and woken!

Probably the best hotel nearby to Shenandoah National Park. Luray also has some very decent restaurants to eat at and Luray Caverns. Room was good and clean.

You had to request for trash to be taken out and for fresh towels due to being understaffed.

kids were disappointed that the pool was down but understand waiting on parts. linens were all clean but there were bugs all over the room dead and alive when we booked the room it said included continental breakfast but didn’t. Did still offer a grab and go option however. room keys stopped working before our check out time.

Price was excellent, staff great, bed and pillows great, pillows mean a lot If one has back problems, everything was better than expected, the price was cheaper and naturally one expects the motel to be sub standard but just the opposite occured.

No breakfast was offered only coffee and juice.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Our room was very close to the pool which the kids loved.

Check-in and check-out was easy. The pool was well cared for. The beds were comfortable.

Someone's underwear was left on the desk chair. It wasn't pleasant seeing that right away. We threw it in the trash. The bathroom needs updating. The tiles are very old with discoloration of the grout. I will not actually label it as "mold" , but it needs removal. The faucet at the sink would only turn completely off, in one specific spot. It would continue to drip if you didn't leave it exactly perfect.

The owner and staff were very helpful and accommodating. I felt like they really cared about making sure I was happy. We were 5 min from Main Street. Lots of great choices for restaurants. Cute town.

The Room Was Beautiful. Our Stay Was Very Quiet And The Mountain Views Are Like None Other. The Staff Was CmVery Friendly And Accomidating We'll Be Back For Sure!
