Older motel, but the location was away from major roads and very quiet. Room was large, with good internet, large screen TV, microwave and refrigerator. I had booked two nights to bike the New River Trail, but when I went to the trailhead a few blocks away, the trail was closed for repairs from recent flood damage, and the manager spent 30 min on the phone with booking.com getting my 2nd night refunded when I could find no way on the app to do this myself.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed here, and I had absolutely no complaints. I left too early for breakfast, but I did see coffee pots in the lobby on my arrival.

Roomy area with outside seating. Clean, we put heating on but would have Would liked extra blanket and tobe able to make tea/coffee. Easy to find then easy to find Blue Ridge parkway.

The affordability, staff, availability! Great view view from the porch! This was our second stay. I am sure we will be back!
Only double beds in the pet rooms. Our dog would never have a accident no matter where he stayed.
