Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mount Airy, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast area was great. I believe the name of the wonderful lady overseeing the breakfast name was Angie, she was very pleasant and took pride in her job. I loved that it was pet friendly!

My bed was uncomfortable and you couldn’t shut the curtains all of the way. I used a hair clip so it could be dark but new blackout curtains would be perfect. Also there was a very loud speaking lady working the breakfast the last 2 days that had no problem discussing her personal business with the other.

We had a wonderful stay with our little dog, Annie Lyn. The room was very nice and comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. The main entrance was lovely coming and going each day. The manager went above and beyond in all aspects there. We had a fire alarm event early one morning. All was well. We didn't have to leave our room. The breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty. Great way to start each day of sight seeing. I do recommend you stay there.

I really had no issues. There were concerns with the working mechanisms of the locks on the doors. Everyone tried hard to fix it. The maintenance crew was friendly and responsive if we needed anything. Overall it was well staffed with a nice group of people doing their best to keep you comfortable. We stayed 4 nights.

Good Breakfast plenty of selections. Easy access All around good place to stay. Friendly staff I recommend this hotel for your visit to Mt Airy. Easy parking and plenty of it.

The hotel staff was excellent! Although it was a busy weekend with basketball teams staying. But the staff was awesome and stayed calm with all the craziness. The ladies at breakfast was amazing with our independent/talkative 8 year old. :)

Only complaint i have is our room was hot :-/ We had the unit set as low as it would go (60) and had it on high but our room didn't cool down much.

The hotel was great starting with the front desk staff, who started our stay off woth a smile and very friendly words. The room was very clean the pool and all the halls were fresh and clean.

I had to ask for more towels they did not just bring them to the room

Everyone was friendly, especially Angie at the breakfast bar. Breakfast was good and she always ask if we needed anything. Check in and check out was easy

Doors were very noisy, neighbors went in and out alot and that's all we heard was the door.

Everything was Fantastic!! Place was very clean, smelled so good, & breakfast was amazing. I would say the best Breakfast I've had at a hotel.

One of the jets weren't working on the spa tub. There was a couple of pulls on the carpet that was sticking out.

The little things like the dog treats provided. Hotel was clean and the staff was super friendly.

Pool and fitness areas being closed- that's not universal in other hotels (website didn't mention they were closed). And not having breakfast food available for people who don't eat carbs and gluten, ie eggs of some sort and bacon or sausage. The hotel costs twice as much as those in the area, but isn't that much different that those that normally don't have a pool or fitness center available.

I loved to find a Brazilian person working there. She was so nice and friendly, I forgot her name but she was in the reception. Thank you for being so nice! And we loved the breakfast, very good!

It was a great hotel and a great location. Right in the middle of everything. Downtown was a very short drive away. Breakfast will be a brown bag. Been to the same hotel chain at other locations and it was a full on bar, so we were a little disappointed and had to go get our own breakfast. Booed with this hotel chain thinking we would get the same kind of breakfast, but sadly we didn’t. If I had known, we would have gone a little bit cheaper to offset the breakfast we had to pay for.
