Hampton Inn & Suites San Marcos

Staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel was easy to find. The breakfast was good too.

The only issue I had was with the very loud barking dog down the hall from us. I called the front office and they said they would check into it.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and tasty. The room didn't have any down pillows of duvets. And, that was great because we all have allergies.

There's construction going on near the hotel that makes the entrance hard to find. There were people running around after being in the pool area that were soaking wet and acting without any regard for the other guests. So, neither of these things were the hotels fault. They were just things I didn't like about my visit.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast with many choices. Oatmeal, eggs, bacon or sausage, cold cerals, yogurt and fresh fruits. Coffee and tea are always available. There's a nice snack and necessities room. Bathroom was very clean, nice towels and comfortable bed and pillows. Staff was very responsive with a problem we had.

A UPS dispatch is behind the hotel. Their trucks could be heard backing up.

They had a terrific breakfast. Lots of choices and I'm picky because I don't eat gluten. The bed was comfortable, but next time I'm going to bring my own pillow. The room was quiet and they had a pull down shade to block out the light which I appreciate since I can't sleep when there's any light in the room.

I didn't like that there was no microwave in the room. The tiny table they had in lieu of a dining table meant that if we ate in the room, only one of us had a surface on which to place our food.

The fellow that checked us in, I think his name was Logan. Super friendly guy,, knew what he was doing.

No hot tub.

very clean and quite with great, friendly staff. Breakfast is very basic and coffee is always out in the lobby.

I requested the top floor on the opposite side of the highway. I received conformation from the hotel too, but we were not on the top floor and out room was on the side of the highway.

Small TV and remote control does not work well

Rooms were comfortable. Beds were cozy.

I arrived at 2:45p to check in. Last at the desk asked for my name and ID. then told me out would be another 30 minutes at least. Then she just stared at me. Never offered anything. Never said anything more, just stared at me, so I left and returned 30 minutes later to be greeted by the manager. She was nice and helpful.

I enjoyed the breakfast the first two morning’s. The waffles were great and the sausage patties were a welcomed surprise. The juice machine stayed full and my kids loved the cereal options. My wife stuck with the oatmeal and dried fruit.

Sausage links and the omelets definitely. They were undercooked and the taste was subpar as well.

WE WENT FOR A FAMILY REUNION IT WAS A PERFECT SPOT THE REUNION WAS 7 MINUTES AWAY ALSO CLOSE TO MANY RESTAURANTS I LOVED THAT WE WERE ABLE TO GET IN BEFORE 3:00 PM OUR CHECK IN TIME THE STAFF AT THE CHECK IN WERE SUPER FRIENDLY
