Comfort Suites San Marcos

The room was nice,cold ac. There is a Chili's and Red Lobster next door (walking distance). The staff was nice. Breakfast buffet was good

The bed was uncomfortable! The service road is under construction (obviously tbey cant control that) so the front parking lot is pretty small, plenty of parking in the back It's very close to the river for tubing

Our room included a coffe machine, microwave, and mini fridge. I was not expecting it since it didnt mention on website but was pleasantly surprised.

The elevator was a bit scary for me. It also smelled somewhat ‘stale’ but the room was nice. Smelled clean, just the lobby and elevator smelled weird. The pool was smaller than expected.

Staff endured a whole week of this veterans panic attacks, demagnetized cards among other things in a truly professional manner. I am looking for my forever porch here in San Marcos and would love to stay at this property in the future.

Construction overnight but I have insomnia! End roadwork? Not a chance.

Very little selection of Breakfast, not the usual continental. I needed an iron and ironing board, the room did not have one. Managed anyway. Decent stay

Room and hotel was very clean and comfortable. I only grabbed a few things to go for breakfast, but very convenient. Would definitely stay again if in area.

Construction in parking lot was a mess. Not sure of plans but not causing alot of problems parking.

The room was very clean with the exception of the ceiling fan. It was thick with dust. I asked for towels to clean it because I didn’t want dust falling on me The staff apologized for it not being cleaned and offered to take care of it but I told them not to worry.

The breakfast was very good, hot eggs and a variety of both hot and cold items. The room was very comfortable and clean. We were on the highway side of the hotel so the road noise was a little disturbing. If you were on the other side, it was probably very quiet.

Next time, I will ask for a room on the east side of the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night because my daughter had a softball tournament in town, but we will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

I don’t have anything negative to say about this place.

We drove in 7 hours and arrived at 1:30 but the staff would not let us check in until 4pm. I have never been to a hotel that would not let you check in early if the room was ready

The location was hard to get to due to construction. The staff member that was there when I checked out this morning had his head on the desk and did not acknowledge me.
