Words cannot express the shear Joy and the beautifulness of this place the friendliness of the staff that excellent food that was served to us and the loving care taken Going there on a midweek off-season was just a delight we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves which made for a very relaxing experience I honestly want to write a bad review so that others won't go there and we can keep it to ourselves The main thing I like was the Victorian bathtub and the room facing the water also liked the Exquisite breakfast that was made for us that morning the coffee the Danish is the the presentation was just superb

Great location, beautiful view, and historic charm. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. I wasn’t able to stay for the breakfast but it smelled wonderful! Theresa is a gracious host. I highly recommend The Peaceful Pelican if your travels to you to Palacios.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. It’s a historic home so obviously it has old fixtures and furnishings and shows some wear and tear, but that’s part of the charm.

A very quaint and quiet home. Very pretty and just a perfect end to a very busy trip. The house is very charming and full of history and little things to see at every turn. There was a dedicated area for 24 hour coffee, refreshments and glasses. The housekeeper was a lovely welcoming lady and her breakfast was very nice. The bed was amazing with settings for both sides.

Nothing it was all good

We were there Sunday over Monday. The whole town was quiet. But, of those people we did come across, everyone of them were friendly. One of the most peaceful places we've been to. We enjoyed walking the sidewalk along the seawall during the day and evening.

It was sad to see the beautiful architecture of the downtown buildings were in a poor state, abandoned.

The room had a beautiful view of the bay and I felt so peaceful.

That the other tents there were extremely loud and had no respect for the other tents who were still sleeping. I wish there were signs that stated to please be mindful of the other guest in Air B&B

There wasn't anything to NOT like! It was absolutely perfect! The view, the breakfast, the adorable room, very comfortable bed and sheets....just everything! Not to mention the owner and inn keeper were THE sweetest people and made you feel so comfortable.

That I had to leave!

Beautiful home with lovely furnishings. It is right across the street from the bay so the view is wonderful and there is a nice front porch and some outside chairs to enjoy it from. The breakfast was delicious and my room was very comfortable. It was exactly the right place for me to get away to and have a peaceful, quiet change of scenery. Palacios is not a bustling town with lots to do but my reason for travel was to relax and it was perfect for that. A beautiful Gulf coast town...and a great place to stay.

Not a single thing...

The Town is a fishing town, and I love to fish. Went to relax, and it is very relaxing there. Breakfast and Coffee was very good! The Cottage was perfect for me and my Husband. The Ice Machine across the street was a welcome surprise. The view was beautiful!

There were a few bugs( roaches) in the Cottage.

The breakfast the owner served was 5 star delicious! The sunrise view was breathtaking.

This statement is not about anything I didn’t like. If you have trouble walking up stairs or steps, make sure you book in the cottage on the property.

Beautiful room & view. Breakfast delicious. Stayed an extra night because this was such a peaceful place.

It’s an older house so just know walls are thin but it’s big enough guests are scattered.
