Lufkin Inn

Easy access to stores , restaurant, gas , close to my work and Freeway .

It's an older Hotel, parking lot needs repaving too many pot holes , somebody always takes my parking space they need to be number assigned to that room it's irritating and need business discount because I work every other weekend and may need to stay extra day just to rest up for 3hr drive Home.

It was very clean and smelled good in the room.They had the ac on when we got there too.Which was nice since it was 100+ degrees outside.The room was spacious and furnished well.It was surprisingly nice especially for the money.The counter person at check in was friendly and courteous.If we are ever back in Lufkin again we will definitely stay at Lufkin Inn.

It is a good value, good location.

We stay here a few times a month when we come to town and have never had any issues. This stay was a little different. This room wasn’t very clean, had a hole in the bathroom door, like it had been kicked in and something splattered on the trim and walls throughout .. could use a new paint job and bathroom door in that room specifically. The room next to us had younger people staying and they slammed doors and ran to other rooms if people in their group, up and down the sidewalk, until at least 3 in the morning the first night! I told the front desk the next morning and she said they would be warned. I don’t think the warning worked too well. They weren’t as loud the next night but still slammed doors until wee hours of the morning.

The location had many restaurants and is very close to downtown. I would consider it center Lufkin. We stayed in a comfortable double queen bed room which was spacious and the shower was nice (just use the anti slip mat provided). The housekeepers were very good at keeping things clean. Overall, a quiet facility not too close to the main road. Interestingly, you can return the remote and room key and be on your way instead of checking out.

The parking lot has seen better days. The staff was great except for the morning woman. She needs to check her people skills and customer service. All other staff was accommodating. The TV was a little quiet on some channels.

Room size and bed was very comfortable. Location was within minutes of multiple dinning options. Very good value for the price.

Not even continental breakfast offered only coffee.

I liked that there was a restaurant on the property so we could walk to eat dinner.

There was no coffee or breakfast in the lobby. I do not like the coffee in the room, I like it from the lobby.

Very comfortable, clean with courteous staff had checked into La Quinta even gave up money and left poor conditions Lufkin inn made our night thank you.

The room is very clean and comfortable.

The owners were not very friendly and kinda rude about check each time. The wifi at this facility is the worst I have ever seen. You have to constantly reconnect ever few minutes.

The property was very clean and there was plenty of towels and toilet paper. It was everything you could hope for when running from a hurricane! The only negative is that the toilet didn’t want to flush all the way. That has been a pretty common occurrence at several hotels we’ve stayed at lately!

Location was around several places to eat and we felt safe, even had a generator in the back of our truck and no one even looked at it sideways.

It was very clean, and quiet. I like that you can park right by your door makes it simple unloading and loading baggage. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it for the price !
