Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center

We were here for the NSC and enjoyed the location. Although we were only here one night our experience was exceptional. Staff was friendly and facility was clean. Did not get to try he restaurant but did grab and go in the Junction. Love that you provide ear plugs and an explanation card for guests.

That we only stayed 1 night. Upon arrival getting to check in from garage was confusing. Getting from room back to garage was confusing-we went the long way but figured it out after one trip down to garage. You park on 3 and end up on 2 in the hotel.

Beautiful room, great view, super friendly staff

I noted to please get a quiet room but was placed facing the train line which has quite some traffic, sometimes shaking the whole building. I guess they were fully booked, so not much they could do, but should just indicate that this is the case and I would’ve gotten another hotel. It can be really loud. If you mind, book by phone and make sure you get a room NOT FACING THE TRAIN TRACKS

This is a beautiful hotel with great amenities. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The best part is the amazing shower!

The hotel is in a great location if you need to be on campus but is right next to a train crossing. Literally every hour, a train was passing by blowing its horn. You couldn’t sleep through this so you’re basically awakened every hour, on the hour, by a very loud and obnoxious train horn. If it wasn’t for this, the hotel would be 10/10.

Location

Having to pay for parking; that should be included in the already high rate. I could understand if its a football weekend or graduation where parking is limited; but this was a New Student Conference, campus was dead, and still want to nickel and time us 13 bucks a night to self-park. Not a good way to introduce new parents/students to A&M's philosophy of charging for parking and giving tickets.

Excellent location for the Aggieland Saturday program for prospective students. My husband and I will stay again if our daughter is accepted to A&M. We are both alumni and enjoyed the Aggie theme and memorabilia throughout the hotel. The upstairs of the bar lounge was a quiet and romantic place to share a glass of wine together. We were the only ones up there.

Rooftop pool needs to be heated to a temperature that allows use or add a hot tub to the pool area.

We absolutely love this property. It's always fun to be with other Aggie families! The hotel is very very clean and comfortable. Also, the staff are friendly and professional!

We were on the "train side" of the hotel, and it was impossible to sleep. The train passed by the hotel 4x through the night and blew the horn 5x each time it crossed an intersection! We still loved the rest of the property, but we won't stay on that side on our next visit!

We liked that the hotel texted us & gave us an option to park in the garage before check in & exchange our garage ticket for a parking pass. We liked how close we were to our daughter’s dorm & Corps’ events. All staff were friendly & made us feel welcomed.

Our view was the HVAC units & Garage. The train was a surprise-had no idea that it runs day & night.

The hotel is modern, well-equipped, and convenient for those needing to visit TAMU.

There was only one staff member at the front desk, even during a busy morning checkout time. They seemed confused by issues stemming from me having booked on an outside site and attached the billing to the wrong room even though I was the only member of my party to provide an ID or credit card. I also had to follow up with them to remove the tax on parking, even though I mentioned several times that I was there with a tax exempt organization and provided paperwork to that effect.

I really loved the location and how elegant the hotel looks. Super friendly staff that made me feel welcomed.

I didn’t what I saw the people cleaning the rooms do. As I was waiting for my family to come out of the room, I stood to the side while the cleaning people were getting by to a room. I noticed that instead of removing the sheets and putting new ones, the person just used a lint roller all over the bed. Seeing that made me feel gross because they probably do that to all the beds if the sheets look clean enough to just lint roll and fold back like normal. And I know new sheets weren’t put on the bed because there were no other sheets on the floor or in the cart.

Everything in the building was clean. The location was good except for occasional train horns. The view from the room of the stadium in a lightning storm was spectacular. I sat and watched until I fell asleep.

It was a little noisy with the number of kids from the 4H convention, but that is to be expected. The kids were polite and happy.
