Is this place old? Yes. Some peeling wall paper? Yes. Common areas smell like cigarettes? Yes. But the room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff was prompt and polite. What more could you want from a cheap place to lay your head during your road trip down I-40, except for it to look like a castle?

The beds were a little stiff and the pillows a bit thin.

They didn't have a microwave and I was exhausted and no energy to go out to get food and the receptionist put some of my food in the front desk microwave so I could eat. Very kind of her! I also liked that the parking lot was super well lit and I was told they were security cameras but the best part was that the curtains to the room blocked the light very well so it was easy to sleep. Also I was right next to the freeway literally and almost no noticeable noise in the room.

I came and got a cup of coffee in the morning and when I came back for a second cup around 9:00 a.m. the coffee was already put away. I could have really used a second cup before my road trip lol Really could have used a microwave in the room.

That the owners, mgr knows us. The price is great!! They accept pets, with a very small fee. I love the quiet rooms. They are getting the swimming pool ready!

Could have one more towel when you have 2 people stay in one room. Leave tissues are a wonderful help. The mattress was bowed in the center, and hard!

The atmosphere is very relaxing I can let my daughter walk to the ice machine with out having to worry to much

My son came to my motel door to borrow some money he didn't even come in my room just to the door real fast and they made me pay 15 dollars for a extra person who never came in the room I live here for god sakes and I Cant have a visitor for 5 seconds they are money hungry everything has a price and they could really care less about the guest needs or wants

It was right next to freeway, which was not to loud. The vending machines worked. It had a frig. Would've brought me a microwave if I wanted it. Cable TV. Very old building but it was clean and comfortable and I will stay there again.

That I didn't request the room with the balcony. And there was no breakfast.

TV is good. The staff is very friendly. Keeping in mind we all have our off days. I spent 400 dollars at the woodspring for a week and would have been satisfied with a week here for less. I also like that the sheets are changed and housekeeping is there everyday except Sunday. Some places you might find you are sleeping in the sheets from the last guest.

Weary travelers needed a convenient place off the Interstate, and this was it.

Note this place is RIGHT ACROSS from the interstate thus it's very loud and dusty. Accomodations were very shabby but clean. If the cost of this room were $35 instead of $115 I'd be ecstatic about the "vaule"...

Great deal on price and availability. Online reservation and check-in was very helpful. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, but very dated. The bathroom light had 6 different bulbs in a rusty fixture. Overall, it worked well for our needs

Rusted fixture in bathroom with mismatched bulbs. Very old and ugly bedspreads. Doorknob on outside door was very difficult to open.

The shower has instant hot water and the tub drained well! I have been at pricier hotels that could not offer that! Clean and staff was friendly. The decor is dated, but it goes with the feel of your establishment! Very unique place to stop on our way through!

Wonderful staff.

The street was off a freeway offramp but somehow only accessible from a circling approach. The castle look should have been visible but we missed it. Maybe the facility being painted gray helped disguise it to the eye. The building was being repainted while we were there, fresh gray...rx the flagpole be taller and fly a flag with a pennant with the name Camelot, for visibility. We were directed to it by a good natured competitor across town.
