Holiday Inn Express & Suites Northeast, an IHG Hotel

The location is great! It is right next to Marcellos which has amazing pizza, subs, wings, and tons of food options. It is also right across the road from Saubels market if you want to go buy drinks or food for the room. Every staff member we encountered were respectful, kind, had a smile on their face, and if it was in their ability they fixed any issue that arose. The beds are very comfortable in between firm and pillow top soft and they give you two soft and two firm pillows on each bed. The breakfast was exceptional- bacon, Turkey sausage, 3 types of eggs: scrambled, fried, and cheese omelet, muffins, bagels with pb or cream cheese, waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee, tea,! The hotel smelled clean and looked clean and we felt safe and comfortable here with our children.

The pool was still being fixed up and the heater was still broke so they were allowing guests to swim in a cold pool at their own risk which I wish they wouldn’t have announced because my kids were upset when I said No but we are hoping by the next stay it is fixed and ready for the kids to enjoy!

Very good and complete breakfast. The woman tending this area was excellent; friendly and helpful. Since handicapped room was not available, a first floor room close to the lobby was given to us. That was convenient and not too much of a walk.

Our room had one chair (desk). We found this very inconvenient 2 people need 2 chairs. Also lighting should be improved. There was no desk lamp or any other light on that side of the room. Overhead light in front of the windows and by the outside door didn't help to light the middle of the room. **** I asked for a receipt of our room payment, made on charge card. Clerk told me it was sent to my email. I have not received that. I do want a receipt! She never offered the option of printing that receipt.

This hotel was very relaxing, family, and pet friendly. The breakfast was nice considering that we are in a Pandemic. I loved the fact that the staff used precautions in taking the guest orders during breakfast and served us our food. This made me feel safe as it was very limited touching of items.

My only dislike was not having use of the pool/hot tub and gym. However, this was made known prior to my booking which I really liked. As some hotels do not inform you prior to your arrival. They had all details/restrictions posted on their website, closed due to covid-19 restrictions.

I like the pancakes, the packed brown bags this make my life easy for later snack. The people that served very friendly and accommodating.

I didn’t like that I wasn’t aware that I need it to request room service for my room to be cleaned, on top of that you needed to request before 10.00am, I was given a sheet with house of rules and this needed to be added there but it wasn’t. Very disappointed on this area.

The room was spacious and loved it had microwave and fridge. Breakfast was good with decent selection

I picked this hotel because it has a indoor heated pool. But unfortunately wasn’t told it was closed due to Covid until after I already booked and told my kids we could swim. In my confirmation email it said it was closed.

Family owned and friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. coffee in the lobby 24/7 was always hot. comfortable beds and great water pressure. Fridge and microwave. Keurig for in room coffee.

Great location, that is close to lots of places to eat. Hotel was clean and inviting the moment you walk in the door. Front desk staff were friendly.

Shower water, you have to play with the knob, moving from hot to cold a few times to get it regulated.

My sofa bed was not cleaned from before. There was a pair of shoes inside the bed and it was dirty. My hair dryer caught on fire.
