Comfort Inn & Suites York

I had a great stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites! I'd especially like to thank Maurice, the concierge who works the front desk! He was extremely helpful and very kind and accommodating for my stay. I have family in the area, and I am looking forward to coming back for my visits and staying at this Comfort Inn again. So thank you very much for a comfortable stay in your hotel.. 😊

I wish they had a pool... although for a few more $ they do have jacuzzi rooms.

The suite was clean, staff was nice and helpful. The price was good, and the bagged breakfast (which was probably for safety considerations due to Covid) held both sweet items and my favorite, a savory egg sandwich which could be heated in the suite's microwave.

This is the second time we have stayed here, and both times our room/suite was on the highway side-very loud. The other thing that disrupted my sleep was the fact that despite turning off the heat, and even trying to use the a/c in winter, the room temp only dropped to about 67 at night and it felt very stuffy. It wouldn't be an issue if the window could be opened. But even if it could be opened the noise would be problematic. Perhaps room fans could be available?

Breakfast pretty much sucked. Rubbery egg patties and mystery meat don't exactly set a good tone for the day after having paid $200 for a room for the night. Also, the breakfast area needs to be re-thought in regards to flow. Maybe counters along the two back walls have one along a wall and two buffet islands in the middle where people can get to it from both sides.

Reservation was incorrect. First reservation was cancelled by me and verified but was still on the hotel records. TV was not working normally. Printed channel instructions did not match TV Chanel’s.

The breakfast was poor. Bagged food included breakfast sandwich, fruit cup, small muffin and fruit bar. Did not include breakfast sandwich on second morning.

Room was not made up after first night. Desk clerk at checkout said make up was not requested. I've never had this issue, nor have I had such inadequate response. TV did not work. Message on screen said no signal.

Very good location for us. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable.

Hotel is starting to show some signs of age. Wallpaper bubbling on the walls, exhaust fan in bathroom not working. linens showing worn areas. Only one elevator of two working.

It was as expected. Rooms air conditioning system sends out an order of mold or mildew. Hotel seems to have that order overall on the 4th floor..

Deal with odor when air running.

Cleanliness, staff was good except for below.

Other guests were drinking and hanging out in the parking lot both days we were there. They were very rude and threatened us. We let the front desk know and we were told they are guests too with no resolution to the problem. We were uncomfortable coming and going and worried about our cars. 😕

The breakfast was a disappointment. However, I understand the reasons for the continued COVID restrictions. Coffee was very good.The bag breakfast was generous in its content.

It was a challenge to get onto the hotel lot because of construction on one entrance. My room was on the interstate side of the hotel and was noisy 24/7

Handy road trip stop with good parking, Wi-Fi, and a good breakfast. Room was comfortable. We appreciated Rutters across the street for a late-night snack and gas fill-up.
