Red Lion Hotel Pendleton

We stay here often as we travel back and forth between Washington and Idaho. Everyone is always friendly, it is always incredibly quiet, and the price is great for the quality. It was especially amazing that as we arrived after a long drive, the Restaurant and Bar manager offered to keep the restaurant open a little longer if we wanted something to eat. We were starved so it was absolutely AMAZING he did this and we were able to grab a quick bite and night cap before bed. THANK YOU!!

This could be a Covid thing, but my only suggestion would be to offer an extra blanket in the closet. The rooms are quite chilly when you first arrive and I’m a cold sleeper.

Even though close to the highway, there was no noise. Quiet and comfortable.

I understand supply and demand. However, the price for our room doubled from Tuesday to Wednesday. The hotel was nowhere near even one quarter full. Thursday checkout I saw many folios set up and ready for people to check in.

The location is perfectly situated off the highway. The rooms are spacious, clean and very quiet. The staff is friendly and full of useful information about the surrounding community.

It would be so nice to have the restaurant that is in the building up and running. Also, if the pool cannot be used...maybe they could drain it completely so that it is not a distraction from the beautiful view of the Pendleton Valley.

Hands-down, the staff at the Pendleton Red Lion were so WONDERFUL!!! We cannot stress this enough, virtually, every staffmember from the managers, housekeepers, facillities guys, the gentleman who keeps the pool & spa all of them were so warm & genuinely interested in making our stay the very best hotel experience ever! I really liked their "Cascadia Soap" line of linens and I inquired about being able to purchase them with the morning desk manager (I wish I had asked her name) and she took the time to find out and yes you may ! The hotel is really nice, clean and very cozy. My husband and I agreed that whenever there is a Red Lion, availablewe will be choosing them !!!

No alternative for the Covid absent "complimentary breakfast".

Staff was exceptional at dealing with a double booking and follow through with reservations desk on sending medicine I left in the room. Cannot say enough good about the front desk staff. Thanks you!

I left medicine in the room and tried twice leaving a message with lost and found with no response back from the lost and found department. After stressing the urgency I called the front desk reservations and they took care of it. Other thing my room and my brothers room shower was slick like oil. I almost fell - if it had not been for soap grab bar I would have definitely fallen. I had to go to my 72 year old brothers room at 6 am to warn him and hee told be afterwards that he too would have fallen had I not warned him. No bath mats and a tub as I said slick as oil-dangerous!!!!

The hotel is older but quite nice. The restaurant is closed. The location is good. It’s easy to get to any location in the area. We enjoyed our stay.

The restaurant area looks nice. It would be nice if it could open again.

spacious and quiet, good location. nice views from our room. staff was busy during check in due to a busy Saturday night but they got to us quickly and efficiently. coffee served in the lobby the next day was very good.

there was a hair tie under the bathroom shelves… might want to focus on cleaning the floors a bit more…

Nice big room.

Stayed there 2 years ago and the pool and restaurant were closed due to covid and the AC didn't work. This time the AC was good but pool closed for repairs and the restaurant was still closed too. Would me much better if these were available. Looks like a nice pool.

Our 1st visit/will return. Very dog friendly. To walk your dog you don’t have to exit through the hallway. There’s a sliding glass door with an open patio that exits to the parking lot. There’s a slight slope to get to the parking lot. The hotel is a hidden gem. The restaurant wasn’t open due to Covid. Cheryl was very friendly/professional. There was another woman who checked us in the night we arrived but I can’t recall her name. Someone in her family member had passed away. Again, our condolences. She was very friendly/professional.

Forgot to call the front desk about the sliding closet door. It wouldn’t line up in the groove to open/close.

Location. Most helpful and charming staff. Everything in the room worked, from curtains to B/R fans. Plenty of parking. Good bed and pillows. Nice towels.

Mostly the COVID restrictions. If travelers don’t know there is no food service in the hotel. Coffee and a “to go” bag are available from 6-9 AM. The to go bag is very well thought out and a fair price considering. My bag contained a boiled egg with S&P. A small container of strawberry yogurt, a blueberry muffin and a navel orange for $7 and all the coffee.
