Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salisbury, an IHG Hotel

When i check in on Friday evening,the lady at the front desk name is April..she was very nice and very sweet. Her and i shard a conversation about why was i spending the weekend in Salisbury. I told her that my baby was murdered on September 15,2020. Because im a veteran the army paid for my son to be buried in the veterans cemetery down there. He just turn 19 years old.So i come down every month to visit with my baby. I bring him flowers and other gifts. It brakes my heart to have to leave him on Sundays to return home. 😣 without him. She made my stay at the hotel very pleasant for me. I will return next month to visit with him again. I would highly recommend the holiday inn express&suites to anyone having to travel to Salisbury.The room was remarkable,clean,fresh smelling,no dust on the furniture or the light lamps. Not even a piece of lint under the let out bed couch cushions. The carpet was clean and the bathroom was very clean as well.

The only thing my husband and i didn't like was that the room we stayed in was right beside the highway. It was horns blowing,🏍 grinding and emergency fire,trucks blowing. They didn't have enough washcloths.

The room was nice, and I liked that I could adjust the temperature in the room electronically.

The elevator made a lot of noises, and there was an alarm going off that something wasn't communicating, not sure what that was about. I asked the receptionist about it, and she stated it was fine, was just serviced. I still was a little weary using it.

It was clean, breakfast was delicious and I appreciated the hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers, such a great accommodation.

In room Kerig was dirty, didn't like that. But it wasn't a deal breaker.

location was convenient. comfortable beds. AC worked great! clean all around.

toilet in our room kept running. breakfast needs improving. wasn’t ready at time stated it would be open. pancake machine not working for the 2 days we were there. no waffles. not very good food.

Overall great location, staff was pleasant and the facility was clean.

I didnt like that we were not informed at check in that we had to request for clean linens the next day. I feel due to COVID fresh linens should be required DUE to COVID, especially if I'm paying the same price if had not been COVID. Lastly, the housekeepers didnt pull the trash that we bagged up that Definetly should be part of a daily clean to prevent further issues such as pest.

Trash can still had trash in the bathroom and large hairbands under the desk so questioned cleanliness. Otherwise, room was beautiful and beds were very comfy. Pool was not working which was the only reason we booked there.

Very convenient to EVERYTHING

Parking and their spaces were pretty tight. The shower floors were dingy. People were getting stuck on the elevator.

When I checked in I asked if a handicapped room was available (for my wife). The room originally offered to me was such a room, and was, without doubt, the best equipped room for a wheel chair bound person I have ever seen. Well done.

The hotel was perfect my room was extremely clean the staff was extremely nice the breakfast in the morning was served by one of the staff members extremely clean I had a great stay there.

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel.

The not cleaning of the rooms. If.Covid is a concern, Wear gloves an keep on a mask. But we shouldn't have to request clean linens daily an be charged the same prices.
