DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown

Location to downtown is great. Staff on arrival and departure were nice. Cookies upon arrival to welcome us were excellent (Had to ask for more). Hotel is clean and updated. Room size is very good for family of four. Included breakfast.

Noisy pull out sofa bed - Heard every time my son turned over. Queen beds are a little firm for myself. Breakfast is essentially the same everyday - Has to eat breakfast out a few times. Parking charge of $16.00 per day. (Which I knew before hand) . Unable to check out rooftop unless we sat down for drink or dinner.

My wife & I had a two night stay at the Doubletree downtown Asheville and had a fantastic time. Every one of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Every person we dealt with went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed, and each time, went above & beyond our expectations. I would, and will, recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable room, excellent service and at a convenient location to be able to walk around the downtown Asheville scene. We will definitely be staying there again the next time we take a trip to Asheville!

We liked the size of the room. To have two big beds and a very nice seating area with a nice lamp. I was able to work in my corner while others worked on the side. Spacious and clean. Lots of ports to charge. The shampoo/conditioner and body wash smelled amazing and bathroom was also a good size. The rooftop bar was also amazing and incredibly beautiful views at sunset.

The price for the breakfast was a bit much. Also the fridge in the room wasn’t cold.

location was easy walk to downtown shops and many places to dine....

Having to request room cleaning, fresh towels, coffee , price was high in my opinion to have to request these services. I feel it should be done each day.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm cookies and complimentary water. The room was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for a group of ladies to get ready each day. Staff members were fun and friendly no matter where we were in the building. Breakfast was delicious, the drinks from the bar were great, and the location of the hotel was excellent for walking downtown!

The location is great! Close to nearby restaurants and shops.

I had booked a corner city room view. Our room looked over the parking lot. I guess we were on the wrong corner. The king size bed was not comfortable. When checking out, they tried to charge me again despite having already being paid ahead of time. They claimed that Booking.com had never sent them the credit card information. Yet, on Friday night the staff was aware of the card on file. We were also told breakfast was not included. I had to show my printed emails to prove otherwise. The location was great and the hotel was clean. However, I would never recommend this hotel if staying in Asheville.

I paid extra for a Mountain View and honestly it was a joke. You can see mountains from anywhere.

The beds were comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was excellent, definitely a step above most. Loved the Crabtree and Evelyn soap offered

The room was on the smallish side, the parking was expensive, the bathroom door was sticky though for the rest it was very clean and staff was indifferent.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance of most anything we wanted to do in downtown Asheville.

When booking, I was not aware of some additional fees like parking or breakfast (which I booked to have included in my toom rate.)

The staff was quick and friendly. Beds where comfortable. The security was very friendly and always on the look out. I love that. Because we explored downtown and would walk back .. so as a lady it was night to see them walking around and not sitting down in the lobby.

Breakfast was ok. It had a lot of cold breakfast items. The only thing I really had a problem with is that I was charged to park. It was said the that they charge for parking downtown because the lack of parking. We paid $16 a night to park.. on top of the room rates
