Beachcomber Resort at Montauk

Loved how large the rooms are!! And the kitchenette with full size fridge was great too. Felt like a home away from home.

Not a big deal, but I assumed (as I feel others might) that advertising a coffee machine includes coffee as well! Would have been a nice addition that isn’t too hard for a hotel to provide in my opinion. I also wish the pool was open a little later! Like 9pm? Especially since quiet hours aren’t until 10 anyway. Would have loved to go for a swim after dinner. I’ll also remember to request a second floor room next time as our upstairs neighbors were apparently hosting a relay race the whole weekend and the floors creak something serious.

Location, location, location! Beachcomber is perfectly situated right across Old Montauk Highway from the beach--literally just steps away. But it is also quite close to the center of town so one could bike or take a lovely stroll into town for breakfast and work off those pancake calories on the way back! Every room has a beautiful ocean view and rooms are airy, clean and beachy in atmosphere. It's a lovely family-oriented place, although I was comfortable staying there with a friend. And there are no loud parties going on at night, which can happen at some places.

The staff was extremely nice. Especially Ryan who ran the pool area. It's rare to see an employee take that much pride in their work and the happiness of guests. The room and facilities were very clean. The room was a great size. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great. Right across the street from the beach with water views from our balcony. Great beach area for hotel guests right across the street. Close to town, but I liked not staying right in town.

we stayed in the front complex and loved our view of the sea..The light in the apartment was very nice and the restate make a big difference for creating ambience. All the cooking items were perfect as well as the comfort of dining at the the little round table. The bed was very comfortable and even though it was a queen it held my 6'6" husband and every comfortably. We will be back.. Montauk is a charming village as are all the small towns on the Island..Thank you

The hairdryer in the wall in the bathroom would not stay in its cradle. a small inconvenience but might be worth checking out.

Oh my goodness our room was so stinkin cute!! My BFF & I stayed for 4 days 3 nights this week (7/12/21) to celebrate our 50th birthday. We had a lower level studio w/a queen bed & pull out couch & full kitchenette. The effort that was made to decorate this room in full beach mode was amazing!!! We live on Long Island & staying at The Beachcomber truly made us feel like we were far far away on a completely relaxing beach vacation!! Amazing view from our balcony as well. Short walk to the beach & to town. The location is IDEAL!! Absolutely worth the money. Do not hesitate to stay here. Book your trip!!!

Squeaky creaky slippery bathtub.

I thought the rooms were very clean and had everything you could ask for. Accommodations were very nice with a gorgeous view of the ocean front our balcony

It was difficult to get the front desk on the phone to answer questions. On one of the websites, it stated we needed to bring our own sheets and wanted to confirm this prior to arrival but never heard back. For those of you who need to know, sheets WERE included and not necessary to bring. The pull out was not comfortable and it would have been nice if coffee packets were included. some updates were not installed as in other units but definitely would not stop me from booking here again. Hopefully, next time will be for a week long stay,

The staff was beyond friendly! I loved the fact that we had a floor room in the 200 building, since we were going back to the beach so much it made it super convenient. The fact that you provide a clean bathroom/shower for your guests before and after check in/out is an absolute game changer. We would not have been able to do it without that! Also having a kitchen in the room was a major plus!

We came with a group of 20. My Husband and I were the guests of honor and requested a room with no carpeting. Unfortunately, we were the only room with carpeting and were a bit disappointed. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. I would say to require all the co-ops to update flooring and the toilet and shower were hard to use.

Everything. Clean, attractive, spacious with views & a bonus whole kitchen! Great staff. Exceptional housekeeping by staff!

Magnified mirror on bathroom wall is needed for ladies in particular. Only thing you & every hotel out here could possibly do is lower prices.

Beautiful location and resort! I have been staying here since I was a young girl and now I’m in my 30’s. Beachcomber is reliable and the new renovations to the rooms are simply perfect! Beautiful studio set ups with a full kitchen and view of the ocean! Even better there are no longer telephone wires in the ocean view, now that they are all buried. Highly recommend!

The room doors only had the one lock, that you flip the lock closed, no button or switch from inside. Could be more secure!

easy access to beach and downtown strip. do not need a car. spacious studio and balcony, it looks exactly like the pictures. very clean.

a little dated but that may be typical for Montauk/area looking at other properties. could see rust on the outside of refrigerator.
