We used only our room and enjoyed it! The beds were really comfortable and the front desk staff was kind and helpful. I do wish we got to use the pool! We would use this hotel again if we go back to the stone pony
We did not like the condition our carpets were in! They were dirty when we walked in and that was a big turn-off for myself and my husband. We were traveling with our daughter who is an infant and would have been playing on the floor.

For my needs, the location was fine. As a person who works non-traditional hours, I appreciated the noon check-out. Also, I really appreciated all the attention to detail regarding cleanliness in these days of COVID. For example, in travel magazine articles written pre-COVID, one always would read to use alcohol wipes on the TV remote ("They never are cleaned and harbor every pathogen imaginable!"). This one was sealed in plastic, with an assurance that it had been sterilized.
I wish that there were some kind of sound dampening in the area by the door. My room was across from the snack machine. I heard every single argument as to where it was, how it worked, and what was or wasn't an appropriate purchase. Since a lot of people were up early, I heard all of them, too. Also, because I used "Booking", my AARP discount could not be applied.
