Hampton Inn Princeton

The bed was *giant*. The mattress was so good, and I felt like a royal person when I climbed up into it. We used a pull-out sofa too, and THAT mattress was also really good! The room was clean and quiet, and we ended up staying a second night. The person at the front desk was very kind and friendly.

Breakfast was not well managed. There seemed to be only one person refreshing everything, and they couldn't keep up with demand. Coffee pots were empty for quite a while, and we waited for a long time before giving up on waffle batter. This person was run *ragged* and really ought to be given a raise and an assistant.

This was a REPEAT stay for us to visit our daughter and our new grandson. I have difficulty walking and the front desk not only found us a room for EARLY check-in but right across from the elevator. It was very convenient to drop our bags from the airport before we headed out for the day. Again, our room was spotless. We ALWAYS find more than enough to eat at breakfast and the choices were extensive. REAL food, always fresh and tasty. After NOT finding a corner store or ANY store that sold beer ANYWHERE north or south for miles, we were tickled that (after mentioning our dilemma to the front desk) he informed us that, "WE sell beer and wine, right here"! WHAT? They even had a wonderful local Belgian ALE in their selection that he recommended and said was one of his favorites. I'll take THREE...put it on my TAB! The trick is...they can sell it ALL NIGHT LONG! From not finding anything to having a ready flowing supply was a serendipity I didn't expect! I think it would be hard to choose a different hotel when visiting the Princeton area....that AND the price was the BEST I found!

I didn't like the fact that the Hampton Inn hotel room was nicer than our bedroom at home and that I had to leave after just 3 nights!

excellent breakfast and nice roomy suite. The bed was quite high and hard to get onto for a 5"1 person. There are no towel bars in the bathroom or wash up area and the towels were in a crate like object above the sink-I hit my head on it.. No shelving in the bathroom for cosmetics or sundries. Clean, comfortable, nice modern furniture. Needed more cups for water. Staff were very responsive and I would stay there again.

No real closet -just a small wooden structure with a place to hang a few items and a ironing board/iron. it would be inconvenient for coats and heavier clothing and not enough room for 2 or more persons.

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Although a bit awkward to watch tv from the couch, overall it was a good stay. The staff was frindly and helpful. The breakfast was okay--nothing special-- but at least a selection of options.

The pet rate of $50 per night that wasn't fully transparent when reservation was made. A bit ridiculous to charge half the full night's stay on top for a dog that is better behaved and cleaner than most guests in hotels. And with much of the property marked with signs to keep dogs "off" and the dedicated pet space at the back of the property not being well lit and without bags to clean up if you didn't have your own, I would not recommend this location for anyone traveling with their pet.

Everything in the room was excellent!! Extremely comfortable Beds, which is what I always look for. Extremely clean and great shower.

Breakfast was a to go style in a box.

Clean and quiet. Love pool and fire pits. Comfy room. Friendly staff. Back and forth to Jersey on family business. Definitely staying here from now on

BIG room Very clean the king size mattress bed was firm very comfortable the couch the shower water strong great 👍 the closet a lot space. Plus microwave and refrigerator the views swimming pool etc.. this was my second time I went in Hampton Inn by Hilton in Princeton both times I had wonderful time I came back 😃

The check in the guy in the desk doesn't fault my reservation from Booking. Com (Booking. Com for me is the best to make a reservation for hotels or packages with airlines) wen I go to call Booking. Com to see what's going The guy said hims fault my reservation. I made a reservation for king size mattress him gave us two Doble beds. I came back in front desk the another lady I don't remember her name gave to us this wonderful Great room THANK YOU LADY 💯 we had wonderful time I came back 😀

I live out of state but am in NJ regularly on family business. We find this property to be very clean and comfortable. Couple minor things: We had to track down a housekeeper and communicate via hand language ( he speaks Spanish) for more washcloths and shampoo ( we had 1 washcloth with 2 people and shampoo bottles tiny). He was very friendly and helpful and worked with us to give us what we needed. The only other issue ( and it’s minor one) is the requirement by desk staff that the guest take the entire breakfast box. I dislike hard boiled eggs and wanted just the bagel. Yes, I could have taken the box and thrown away the eggs but that seemed wasteful. So I settled for cereal instead. Not big deal in greater scheme of things. Highly recommend

Location was excellent. Property had recently been updated which was very nice. Everything was sparkling clean. Staff was terrific. Price was unbeatable.

breakfast could have used at least one more choice. Hard boiled eggs would have been appreciated. I had to move from my room in the front of the building because of traffic noise. Perhaps better quality noise canceling advisory windows on the front of the building would help that problem.

Breakfast was a grab & go, and packaged in a cute box. It was definitely good enough to start your day:)) At the end of our visit, the cleaning fee was waived because we chose to tidy up our room ourselves & save water in the process:)))

It would have been nice to know there was a printed brochure available with area information, including nearby restaurants (it was in a slot on the lobby wall that I found 2 days later.) I also found it a little hard to replace our towels, but found out just to ask at the front desk.
