We had reservations for the Harvest Tavern on Tuesday night. the other two nights we dined in the pub area. All meals we very good. I especially enjoyed the apple glazed porkchop at the Harvest Tavern. The room we had was very comfortable. We had a corner room with exceptional views of the mountains.

The Resort was fabulous but unfortunately the weather did not break like we were hoping. It either rained or was cloudy most of the time. We went up Mount Washington and at the summit we were only able to see about 100 feet in front of us. The cog train going up takes about an hour to reach the summit - a little less coming down. We were also able to take in a movie at the hotel's movie room during the rain.

Beautiful, well maintained historic property. To sit on the massive front porch with a glass of fine wine and look at the White mountains was priceless. Very good gym. The quality of the bathroom amenities was above average. Not many dining options in Whitefield but Littleton is 20 minutes away. The on-site restaurant does not open until 7:30 and we old people like to eat early. Porfidos deli and market is an excellent nearby food source.

We love the old country mansion vibe. The room was huge. So many things to do at the hotel. We didn’t get to do everything. We played a board game, visited the farm, got massages. We planned on driving an hr to the outlets because my daughter wasn’t into visiting Mt Washington (20 mins away) so we didn’t visit the pool/hot tub/sauna or workout room, or game room or movie theater or go for a hike. We will be back.

The restaurant is under renovations but besides that it seemed very understaffed. Glasses were dirty and we heard they we’re waiting for the dishwasher to finish before they could seat others because they were out of utensils. We waited a long time for our apps, entrees and dessert. We did not go back the next day.

The property is beautifully maintained and manicured. Gorgeous plantings and mature gardens. Just lovely! Food was delicious and the wait staff was friendly and welcoming. An nice assortment of activities to choose from for both kids and adults. Would definitely return!

It was my feeling that the front desk staff were not very friendly and welcoming. They gave curt answers to questions and overall gave a feeling of being bothered with queries from guests.

the property is gorgeous! the views of the mountains surround you and you feel immediately relaxed. the front porch is beautiful and so are the grounds. The inside bar is charming and inviting as well as the lobby. The outdoor pool was a great spot to hang out and relax with a pina colada. the couples massage at the Tower Spa was the best we have ever had!

our room had the best views but our bed was so uncomfortable! the floor in the room was sloping down so that all of the blood was rushing to our heads. we ended up sleeping where our feet should be. The Harvest restaurant was mediocre at best as well as the service. we never had help with our bags and the people at the front desk were not welcoming.

Really nice hotel/location with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a corner room at the end of the hall which was great and it had a comfy bed. We ate at the bar every night and enjoyed the food! We also appreciated the daily events and were humbled by our trivia knowledge. Would recommend!

It's an inn so sound travels. We could hear the TV and footsteps upstairs. However, it didn't disrupt our sleep, all was quiet after-hours.

Our hotel rooms were smaller than I had expected, but each of them had huge closets with space for multiple suitcases. Our beds were unusually comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and visiting the barns. The staff at the barns were very friendly and spoke about the animals in an informative and caring manner. We ate one breakfast and one dinner at the inn. The food was very good and the service was attentive.

Location and hotel grounds are great. Size of the room was very nice.

Tried to eat at restaurant Wednesday night. Ended up getting up and going somewhere else. Took too long to get going. 20 minutes after seating we only got water. Think your prices on the menu are ridiculous and I’m not going to sit that long and pay those prices. Tried the buffet the next morning. Good but again not worth that price. I may stay again some day but won’t dine there.

Beautiful property, quiet, lots of young families but plenty of space and not too loud. Relaxing pools and engaging activities for kids. Staff were very kind and helpful. Plenty of public areas to sit and take in the view.

No breakfast until 7:30, period, don't ask; not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have a grab-n-go or pastries, considering that lots of people seemed to be getting up early to leave for hikes, etc., and there aren't a lot of breakfast options nearby. Also, dinner reservations are pretty much required, so make them when you reserve the room. There was a wedding without a formal reception the first night we were there, and it pretty much took over the foodservice to the detriment of the other guests. Might've just been staffing shortage though.
