Room was great. Kiddo loved that he basically got his own separate quarters. Location was very central.

Walking up 2 floors with luggage. Could have used another floor lamp in bedroom for reading.

Excellent location right in the center of town. Old historic building which is very nice. The beds are good and the fact they have parking available behind the hotel is a very good thing. Easy access and you can do everything on foot once arrived.

It is a pity that none of the windows in the room can be opened and as such need to use airconditioning all the time.

For the age of this hotel (circa 1843) it was what one would expect. The floors were a little off, but structurally sound. It can't be compared to modern facilities as far as fixtures yet everything was in working order and good condition. If you're looking for modern, sound proof or state of the art, this isn't it. However, looking at all the history behind it and the guests that have stayed here it offers a step back in time. The staff are very accommodating, friendly, and helpful answering any questions one may have.

There is only one concern, it was a little dusty under the bed. Not extreme, just what one would expect in a few days time. The only reason for noticing is I do a final check of drawers and closets to insure nothing gets left behind. When brought to management's attention made note to relay to housekeeping to address when turning over the room.

This very old but clean building was astounding to view and admire! Walking around and looking at the various artifacts found on the walls and in some of the display cases was very interesting as well.

Because it was old, There is NOT ONE perpendicular corner or wall Not mention the floor, anywhere in the entire building. So all the floors and stairs are at different and sometimes disturbing angles (NONE are FLAT!) Additionally the stairs are quite steep and narrow. So if your older do NOT get anything above the second floor, which even for me was difficult. Never the less it was a Great building and good stay. I would come back.

The Thayer Inn was an unexpected gem as we were looking for a last minute place to spend the night. It was less expensive to stay there than some of the local standard motels. It was very charming, quiet and comfortable. There was plenty of historical memorabilia to enjoy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect for our intended reason to be in Littleton. In light of Senator Robert Dole's passing that day, we were offered the opportunity to stay in the room named for him when he visited the Inn.

The homelike feel of the family suite was a comforting welcome after traveling on the road for many hours. We look forward to sleeping very rested before our trip back home tomorrow morning. The fridge was bigger than expected and fit our needs perfectly. The proximity to the center to Littleton was very convenient and added an extra luxury for finding things to eat & entertain ourselves. BONUS: Just 2 minutes drive close to the Food Coop. Highly recommended for all your overnight or long term visit needs. Even able to buy some last minute items I didn’t know I needed but found useful!

The lack of elevator to go to our room which was on the highest floor (3rd floor); warped floors; precarious staircase with low railing & the highest first step coming from top floor is a possible liability, as my husband & I found ourselves almost falling each time we passed the stairs. Bathroom shared between our rooms was adequate however perhaps adding a door seal of shower rooms would prevent steam from triggering smoke alarms, as was warned by front desk when checking in. Had to use towels to the bottom of both doors leading to shower to avoid this problem. Added need for improvement is shower door that often was loose and would open intermittently during shower.

Historic and beautiful. Rooms were nice, as was the "grab-n-go" breakfast and snack area. Staff were very friendly and had "tips" for the area. The location is great: in the heart of the village area = easy access to stores / shops. We were allowed to keep our bikes inside.

Shower door didn't close all the way, so this led to minor flooding which we tried to resolve by having someone hold the door closed. The AC in one room didn't work well, so we were a little warm. If we were staying more than one night we would have spoken up sooner. We were too exhausted from riding or bikes most of the day to fuss much about it.

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Creaky floors. Old hotel with character.

Very small bathroom with no heat in the bathroom. Room came with a small portable heater which kept the room toasty, but if the bathroom door was kept closed it turned into a meat locker. The hotel instructions were to close the bathroom door when taking a shower, otherwise shower steam would cause the fire alarm would go off. Old hotels have their quirks.

It was the most comfortable bed of our holiday! We’re just glad that independent establishments like this are still around.

It’s not a corporate/chain hotel (part of its charm as far as we were concerned) so it doesn’t have some of the facilities people might expect, for example a lift. This wasn’t an issue for us but might be for some people.

Stayed in a kitchenette suite and the rooms were spacious.

The rooms didn’t have a historic feel to them, the walls were painted, I would of liked to see them have wallpaper. Also the carpet was a bit nasty.
