Days Inn of Frederick by Wyndham

I liked that it was more like a motel and we didn't have to lug our suitcases far. The bed was soft and comfortable. The TV was large. The room was visibly clean. The check in person was nice.

The office area and breakfast were in a different location from our room. Parking was crowded. Not the hotels fault, but between two big trucks was the only place to park. I wacked my head on the guys mirror getting my son out of the car. The bathroom was very small as we had a king room. The people were loud at 5am. Right in front of our room.

Location

When using shower the tub wouldn't drain. Called front desk and they said they would send maintenance l. When we returned to the room that night there was dirt sediment in the tub evidentially from it draining on its own. If maintenance had come they didn't clean afterwards. Needless to say we didn't use the shower the rest of the stay. Room used for sleeping only what while we visited family for Christmas.

Well the first room they gave me was smell like cigarettes 🚬 and I reserved no smoking 🚭 but when I call front desk she changed to the front view of the street perfectly room clean no smoking very comfortable. Friday 18 August at get to the hotel a 5:30 pm and the front desk she was so nice.

At checkout Sunday morning at 10 am the lady of front desk very rude 😒.

We had a room with king bed and it’s the nicest room we’ve had in a Days Inn so far. Towels are small but plush. USB ports on the bedside clock, AC/DC plug in the lamp. (We didn’t use the desk so I can’t report on ease of charging devices if you had to work.) Comfy armchair.

Google routed us in a side driveway and we had a hard time finding the office (it’s separate from the 2 buildings with the rooms). Our room was in the front building on a corner and it was a little noisy as folks left in the morning.

Room was immaculate, very up to date and comfortable.

The major lack of grab/safety bar in the shower!! I have a bad knee and there was nothing to grab to hold on to enter/exit the tub area, nor to grab if anyone should slip. I was unable to use the shower for this reason. The toilet was handicap height and very easy o use so I was surprised for the lack of a grab bar in the shower!!

This hotel location was superb - the proximity to highway and stores was great. It was also very low cost (by $100 a night to other area hotels). Also, the AC in room worked great.

Room had musty odor. Also this property puts a $100 hold on your credit card for incidentals which was not clearly explained on this website when booking the room. The noise level from other rooms was undesirable and louder than many other rooms I have stayed in.

I liked that they had parking and it’s within walking distance of a few eateries you can’t find in some east coast cities. Everybody is friendly and welcoming.

The ice machine doesn’t work so you’ll have to head up the street to Roy Rodgers, or down the street to 7/11, for a cup of ice.

Price, location, size of room, parking right outside door was great.

Registration area wasn't in same building as rooms but will be in near future. Smoker right outside door and paced the area frequently. Bathroom fan was noisy.

This hotel was way better than I imagined for the price I paid. The beds were super comfortable, the room was super clean, the shower was really good. Just perfect for a group in the middle of a road trip needing to rest for a night.

I was caught off guard with the $100 deposit, that should be on your site when booking a room, and have to wait 10 days for my money to be credit back to my bank account so the room cost me for 1 night almost $200
