La Quinta by Wyndham Cincinnati Airport Florence

The breakfast was great! The location was perfect for our needs, plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The shower was awesome!! Every staff member during our stay was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping made pretty designs with towels and toilet paper roll.

The only things I could say against this hotel is that on one morning the toilet kept bubbling back up. This made it difficult as a woman to use the bathroom without getting splashed up on by toilet water. We were there 3 nights and this only happened one morning so I'm guessing there was an issue being fixed. Also, the mattress was a little hard for my liking but tolerable.

Everything was nice and clean. Most of the staff was nice. Comfortable beds. I was grateful for the mini fridge and the microwave.

My kids were very disappointed on Monday night because they wanted to get into the pool but they were unable to due to a very large party that was using the entire downstairs area. When I checked out on Tuesday at 10:30am there were 2 people at the front desk. The HKP manager who was extremely nice and helpful and another employee was either hard of hearing or just plain rude. I stood in front of her at the desk and asked her a question only to be completely ignored. Im glad the HKP manager was there to make up for her sour attitude.

Very enjoyable stay. Room was excellent (a surprise upgrade from what we had paid for was wonderful) and everything appeared to have been updated recently. The pool was warmer than most (thank you!), the hot tub was great and both were open until midnight! Breakfast was hot and well tended. Sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles with several toppings, apples, oatmeal, cereal muffins and yogurt. Absolutely zero complaints would book again in a minute!

The hotel was nice, and most of the staff was helpful. The young lady who checked us in was very kind in allowing my sister-in-law to check in before the rest of us arrived. She had my sister-in-law contact me to get my credit card # and confirmation # first. Very happy about that.

The drawers in the chest in room 308 would slide out when we would walk by. We taped them shut. Check in was confusing as there were 5 of us. The rooms were under my name & credit card #. One lady wanted to use her cc to pay for her part of 1 of the rooms, but she was charged for 1/2 of the cost of both rooms. The young lady could not show me what the rest of the bill would be. Everything was fine once we checked out and I saw what had happened. I was able to refund the money my friend had been changed. In total, the final bill was correct..

The room was very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable and the view was good from the 4th floor. The location was very close to many fun activities like the Hofbräuhaus, Newport aquarium, and the Cincinnati zoo. The pool hours are awesome and their pool area is nice too. Great value for anyone who wants to explore the area. I had a very lovely stay and do intend on coming back.

There were a few flaws in the room like chipped paint, stains on the lamp shades, and damage to the lamp shades. The door would not shut without a small struggle. The window was also dirty and looked like nobody attempted to clean it before we arrived. It was covered in smears and child hand prints. Of all the issues that could be had in a room I'd consider these to be fairly minor but I do believe improved cleaning efforts would do the place wonders.

spotlessly clean. lovely desk staff. love that you had few beers and snacks next to reception. always love staying at La Quinta. bus stop to get downtown was a 5min walk away and also to get to the airport breakfast was good too. biscuits and gravy, waffles, juices and tea/coffee, muffins, bagels, bread and a toaster. fruit. eggs, sausage and patties. having a great breakfast is the difference between an ok hotel and a great hotel people looked like they were enjoying the pool and hot tub your guy Tracey, what a credit to you. he helped me out massively, TWICE!!!! very generous man. thank you for lending me your charger man.

nothing to complain about

We were traveling for a family reunion and needed to stop for the day. We looked online for a place that would be close to our travel route and a good price. We did the entire reservation online, on our phone. When we arrived, everything was ready. The room was wonderful!! The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. The only reason for not giving it ten stars, on this rating chart, was the lack of gluten free breakfast options. We have a family member who is gluten intolerant. He was able to find some items, though. We had an excellent stay!!! Thank you!

We had a couple of really minor issues, like our TV wouldn't turn on and when we contacted the front desk, it was taken care of IMMEDIATELY and WITHOUT an attitude. The woman that assisted was apologetic and fixed the problem. When the pool area was running low on towels, we requested some and they were brought to us again immediately and without an attitude. SO REFRESHING!! The people there were great. They were helpful. They made us feel important. If the price is right, we'll be back!!

I'm being really picky here, but we stayed two nights and the same things were served for breakfast. In saying that, the food was really good. And again being super picky, but didn't have any flavored creamer with the coffee, but the coffee was still good.

The room and entire property was clean and well kept, even with a little construction taking place. We enjoyed the breakfast and the variety of items to choose.

We had a top drawer on the chest of drawers that would not stay pushed in. My husband wedged the drawer with a paper towel which kept it closed, but then the middle drawer would open on its own. Very strange but also quite comical. We didn’t tell the front desk until our check out. It didn’t bother us enough to mention it beforehand.

This is always our go-to hotel every time we visit here and our stays keep getting better and better. Check in was smooth and fast, didn't have to wait. Our room was very clean, friendly staff and close to plenty stores and restaurants. We needed more linen and bath towels and those was given with no problem. The girl at the front desk was amazing as always.

The sofa bed was a little ruff. I would suggest maybe some memory foam mattress toppers. Dogs barking but wasn't too bad.
