Hampton Inn & Suites Kansas City-Merriam

Room was big enough for our big family and was very clean.

The location was a little difficult to reach, however, the facility was well worth the effort. The room was nice & clean, the bed & pillows were very. very comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy, clean, well supplied, with a huge well-lit mirror. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice with a large selection on hot and cold items to choose from. In addition to all of this, they have a very nice indoor pool.

There was nothing about this facility that I did not like.

I was charged twice. I had to spend several days and several hours getting a resolution. I paid with booking.com and then was charged by Hampton at a higher rate than I had agreed upon. It was very disappointing and a large pain in my ass to get it taken care of. I doubt I will ever stay at this facility again. Very frustrating experience

Breakfast was very good.

, The swimming pool area needs some attention, the ceiling was dripping water on our heads while I watched grandchildren in the pool. The hot tub was closed and area taped off this was a area that would have been great to use to utilize this part of my hotel weekend.

Staff was great and helpful and eager to make sure I was comfortable. Room was a nice size and very clean.

The shower had a little drip from the faucet. The bed had an uncomfortable lump in it, it has definitely been slept in.

The breakfast was amazing! My kid was impressed with the bagel cutter and oven. The food was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The window curtain lets in a lot of light and it's hard to sleep with so much light coming in. Other than that the experience was great!

Pool was a hit with the kids. Beds were comfortable. Cereal choices were great.

TV remote did not work. Breakfast was lacking, eggs underdone, waffles in pieces, bread choices old and stale.

I didn’t have time to eat the breakfast. You might wanna look into the drain in the tub in our room. It was constantly leaking water in that can’t be good for you.

This was the cleanest, nicest room we have stayed in over the past several years. The staff were very friendly and the amenities were great. We were very pleased and will be staying with Hampton Inns again!

I liked the location and the staff was very helpful. They even upgraded rooms for me since I came late and was only staying one night. (I had a bad experience at a previous hotel, which brought me here) I also liked the kitchenette even though there was no cooktop.
