Hampton Inn Evansville Airport

We always choose Hampton Inn we love the rooms and the beds are so comfortable. Always clean the only thing they must have changed their policy about cleaning the rooms. Which that was okay but the trash needs to be emptied if you are their 4 nights we were there Tuesday through Saturday morning. And you really need to have more than 1 roll of toilet paper for that many days which I did go downstairs and I was given one. The staff was awesome and the food was great I would definitely stay with you again. Thank you for a great place to rest .

Nothing really

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The person that was supposed to drive the shuttle hadn't shown up yet so the desk clerk was nice enough to drive me to the airport, which I greatly appreciated. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shuttle service to the airport plus proximity to the airport made my early flight a non-issue. The soap in the bathroom was fantastic.

Some kids were running the halls when I was trying to get to sleep. The toilet paper was lower quality than hoped or expected . The price is higher than it should be by $40 to $60. The Country Inn was just as nice as far as the room was consider and was $60 cheaper.

We stayed here on the September 27 when we arrived at the airport from Dallas/Atlanta. Fortunately they had a shuttle we needed to pick us up, as our car Alamo car rental didn't have our requested vehicle. The shuttle person, Deby, was very helpful. Another person, a man, took us back the next morning to get our car rental from Enterprise, which did have what I needed; and he was kind as well. The hotel clerk helped us get our bags to our room, as I am handicapped, and it was difficult for my husband too. He also gave us water bottles. I was so grateful when I got to our room door, I gave him a hug. We must have looked worn out. We came back again on October 3, when we were returning to Evansville/Atlanta/LAX and home. We were very happy with this hotel overall.

The breakfasts at hotels are pretty much the same. Runny scrambled eggs and cantaloupe for fruit. That's about all I would change. There's really nothing else to add.

Breakfast selections and temp of food were very good. Assistants in breakfast area very friendly. Surroundings were very comfortable and delightful.

WiFi was not available most of our stay which was frustrating. Better ventilation in the bathroom would have been well-received. We stayed four days, would have been nice to have had bathroom cleaned a time or two, Towels piled up and no ventilation system. Needed a sufficient supply of toilet paper in bathroom.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great! Loved the fresh fruit selection and the toppings bar. Thought the messages written on the fresh bananas was a cute and unexpected gesture of kindness and hospitality! Also loved having the option to grab a bagged meal if in a hurry!

Nice overall, clean and pretty comfy. Was a little farther out of the way than we were originally expecting, but still within restaurants and other convenient places.

It was a little farther out than we originally thought getting off the exit, but still not away from other conveniences. Bed was okay, not as good as most Hampton Inns

Everything and the people are so helpful and awesome!

The captains room (the cleaning lady called it) had a horrible sewer smell for 2 days and one night and finally I had them move me. I wasn’t accommodated for having to move once and was asked if I wanted to change rooms my first day due to ants in my room, I said no because was t that bad and I don’t pay for rooms this extravagant to just change them after done unpacking and settled. So I would definitely recommend some kind of accommodation for the trouble the guest went through to finally be comfortable.

TV issues. For some reason the local channels and basic cable channels were unavailable. I didn’t bother to ask about the issue until the morning of check out. The front desk was helpful , but their advice wasn’t helping the issue. I would have rated this STAY a PERFECT 10 and all GOLD STARS 🤩if this had not been an issue.

The property must be new (2022) as it was spotless, fresh and well appointed. reception has a good covered portico which is handy when raining. They also have a shuttle to the local Evansville Regional airport (EVV).

Breakfast was fine but I felt the eggs were a bit overdone.

It was clean and near areas of interest.

I was upset the pool wasn’t open. I had taken my granddaughter for spring break and specifically wanted her to be able to swim. The clerk made calls to open it , he was very helpful, but it was suppose to be a heated pool and it was freezing, so she wasn’t able to enjoy it very long.
