Holly House of Hamilton

Judy & Don, were the most perfect hosts! Custom made to own & run a B & B! The breakfasts were beyond explanation terrific! The Holly House itself was immaculate and it was easy to see that total loving care went into this place. If someone is looking for a getaway to find total peace & serenity this is the place to go!! We recommend it highly and we will go back! The area in Hamilton Georgia is also absolutely Beautiful with great roads leading to it!

Only thing we could think of here is that we had to eventually leave!

The Bead and Breakfast was an exceptional experience in all aspects. The Victorian era house built in 1880 was beautifully restored and the location was fantastic. Our host was incredibly talented, accommodating, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to fulfill all our special requests and made our stay even more memorable. The food was simply amazing, especially the delicious cake baked by our host. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and personalized stay. Thank you for the wonderful experience and for making our stay so special

Wonderful hosts that went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They serve a traditional breakfast with delicious homemade treats. There were treats available all day and night. The home is very old and decorated with lots of antiques. It's like taking a step back in time. Even the lady of the house was dressed in period clothing. The home has a pool table room and a separate 'guest's kitchen' for guests to use anytime.

The front door has a double cylinder deadbolt. In case of a fire you would need to remember your key to get out. I was in a home fire long ago and may be a little overly cautious. I am thinking they have it this way so needing a key to get out will remind you to lock the door back once your out. Suggestion: This issue could be resolved with "gate latch" deadbolt. They are auto locking and have a thumb turn on the inside that auto locks when released. It also auto locks when the key is removed from the outside. This would be a safer solution to the double cylinder deadbolt and they are not expensive.

SPECTACULAR, a hidden gem! Judy and Don were wonderful hosts and fun to visit with them in “music room”. Breakfast was a Danish ebelskivers (because Don told Judy we were of Scandinavian heritage)….such a wonderful treat with lingonberries, whipped cream and powdered sugar! The home was so welcoming…we felt like we were in a Hallmark special Christmas movie called Holly House!!!

Everything was great!

Everything kind courteous clean highly recommended to anyone for a stay. Food was great,and plenty of it. Don,and Judy made us feel like special guest, plus some of their family members were their also it was a delight to visit with them they were so nice.

We enjoyed being in such an old home. I had my 8 year old grandson with me who had not experienced this type of property. He was intrigued!

wi-fi was not strong enough to stream the Roku TV. We were stuck inside due to the rainy weather.

The house is beautifully decorated and spotless. My husband and i both enjoyed the delicious, hearty breakfast. Our hosts were wonderful!

We would have preferred a king size bed, but only a queen was available.

Exceptional experience! The house is very cozy (photos don't do it justice) and Judy & Don are the sweetest and most gracious hosts we'd ever experienced. We had a 3.5 yr old with us and they prepared a kid's bed especially for her, without request. Breakfasts are freshly prepared and scrumptious. Location was perfect - quick drive to Callaway Gardens and Wild Animal Safari. We'd love to stay here again!

Honestly, nothing could be better!

The bed was very comfortable and the room was super clean and accommodating. The owners thought of everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was delicious!

We found the Holly House to be very pleasant and hospitable. Perfect place to stay while visiting Callaway Gardens and Warm Springs.
