Best Western Plus Brunswick Inn & Suites

Well cared for property; easy off/on I-95; comfortable room; good breakfast; lots of parking; lots of restaurants and shopping in the area; felt completely safe here; very nice staff. Especially liked that this was a pet free property.

The off-gas from the newly installed carpet had an odor that I could have done without. But, hey, lots of points for the installation of the new carpeting. Aso, during breakfast, the TV channel was not on local news, weather or road conditions. Seemed to be on a station out of Paris, France and worldwide issues were the main focus. I asked if the station could be changed to a local news channel (which others wanted to) but the manager said she wasn't going to change it. This over a holiday weekend when weather and traffic reports were of great interest to the guests.

Breakfast was great, large dining area with superb staff making certain tables were clean and food items refilled, as needed. Appreciated 24/7 coffee.

Only one complaint is that the back door was not locked. When questioned, I was told that if it was locked our key would not work and guests would have to come through the front. I was further informed that if someone who was not a guest came in we would be safe as they would not be able to get into our room. I disagree. With the state of the world today, I would prefer that precautions are taken to avoid any more bloodshed.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The air conditioner was on in our room when we arrived, and was nice and cool. The sheets were crisp and clean. There were plenty of towels and bath cloths. The location was good and check in and out was easy. Breakfast was good. They had eggs, sausage, grits, oatmeal, bagels, toast, eat. The breakfast attendant stood over us and everyone else while we fixed our plates, and did with her hands behind her back and watched everyone while we ate. That was very awkward.

The COMFORT and size of the room and check in was okay, but the evening desk clerk was very kind.

The first desk clerk, Victoria, who was rude not only with me when I called to inquire, but she was also rude to Booking.com when the representative called after I called them to complain about needing the hotel's confirmation number. We almost thought we were not going to be able to stay there and she had a comment about why should we be staying there when we live right here in Brunswick. Frankly, it was none of her business, except we were having plumbing issues and I didn't want my daughter's guest to have to be around that; not that it was any of her business to say anything anyway. So, no I did not care for her attitude one bit.

breakfast situation was really, really odd. tables wildly separated in a too large of a room , looked very weird. PLUS the breakfast attendant checked with us about a dozen times if we were ok—-she literally drove us out of the room. she did not need to check with us every 75 seconds (really) to see if we had everything! that was very strange, we just wanted to be left alone.

Great location! Very close to I-95 entrance so it was very easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go.

our room was humid with a weird odor. maybe the air conditioner needs work. Breakfast was great—the employees in charge were super nice! But they should have a microwave in the back room. They had to use the same microwave that customers use.

The thing about this hotel that stands out the most is the breakfast. We stayed here on a road trip and it was among several hotels we experienced that week. This was by far the best breakfast! Lots of choices, including a waffle maker AND a pancake maker, fresh fruits, pre-made egg/cheese or egg/sausage/cheese sandwich options wrapped in paper, fresh fruits, assortment of beverages, etc. All fresh and replenished by a helpful staff member who stood there the entire time to assist folks. Very well done and appreciated! Friendly, efficient staff at front desk too. It was a better value, at $99, than some other hotels we stayed at for upward of $120.

This is a PERFECT spot to stop for a night when traveling from Florida to SC - EXCELLENT value for the price. The staff were pleasant & friendly. My only issue was that the room was def humid, the air was moist even with the AC running. It’s on a very safe area off 95 that has places to eat & a Winn Dixie to pick up anything you might need close by.

Everything about the room was perfect. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom spacious with disability access. The room was a good size, and we liked the mirrored door on the closet. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was very large. There was plenty of parking and the hotel was very close to the highway entrance but we did not hear any traffic noise.

The property was nice . Great location. Good breakfast every morning.

That although I made the booking -my boyfriend traveling couldn’t check in when he arrived before me, because he didn’t have the card I used to book the room . In order for him to check in, I would have had to the cancel reservation & him book it under his name.?? I emailed the hotel way before to give them my boyfriend’s name & explain the situation-but they said only Booking.com gets the emails. This is the only hotel that has ever given us an issue or has never gotten an email when you “email the property directly “ 🤷‍♀️
