Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tallahassee Conf Center I-10

It was on a main road with lots of choices to eat around. The room was comfortable and a nice size to spread out a little bit. It was only a little ways from town, so pretty easy to get to. Just turn on to the road and go. Also close to I-10 if needed as well. The space for the laptop was pretty solid and parking was right on site. Prices at the vending machines were great and not marked up like the typical hotel usually does, which made it nice to grab something quick.

I think I was in the older part of the Inn, because I was around back. Not bad weather so going from there to the main part to do laundry wasn't too bad, but I can imagine if the weather gets a little wet, getting to the main area can get tricky. Also, there was a socket by one of the beds that was basically hanging on by a thread in the wall. It was a divided highway, so you had to get over a little bit to get to the road to the hotel. Only one washer and dryer for the area. Not sure if each floor inside has laundry facilities, but definitely only one for the first floor. Getting out of the area could be tricky as well (not the hotel's fault) with the road leading down to the main road getting backed up pretty quickly in the morning.

We were able to change from a room with exterior access to one with access from inside the hotel. Room was very quiet. Elevators were both working and prompt.

The mechanical lock for the room door was problematic. The handle seemed to be loose, and unless it was held upright, the access card would not unlock the door. The complimentary breakfast was limited to a muffin, multi-grain bar, and bottled water.

The hotel was very clean, quite and relaxing the pool was awesome as well. It's minutes away from lots of restaurants including Krispy Kreme also not far from the interstate. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely safe there again as well as recommend it to others.

The toilets are a bit to low to the floor but not a deal breaker just wish they were higher.

Luggage trolleys and lifts to get your bags to your room. Large room. Very big, comfortable bed. Arm chair with footstool was nice

No coffee machine in room, though coffee available in lobby. The included breakfast was just a snack - fruit, cereal bars and muffins - but there was next to nothing there when we arrived 40 minutes before breakfast finished.

Made reservations on-line while traveling when we decided what city to stop in. No problem with reservation. Requested a 1st floor room because I'm handicapped and don't do stairs too well. Desk Clerk was not aware of request and initially assigned us a room on the 2nd floor of the motel side of the center. I didn't catch it until we went to find the room and realized the staircase we would have to climb as there was no elevator on the motel side. A quick trip to the hotel desk and she moved us from one room to another on the 1st floor apologizing for the oversight. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. No harm, No foul.

This may be trivial in light of the current Covid-19 situation, but we were hoping for a light breakfast the next morning before departing. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed and the free breakfast advertised on the web site consisted of a bottle of water, a granola bar and a mini cinnamon roll in a paper bag setting on the checkout counter. We had eaten dinner the night before at Cracker Barrel next door with no problems and other restaurants in the area were open. Don't know if they had a staffing problem or what.

The staff and the room were excellent. The staff was courteous. They greeted us with a smile and was very polite.. The room was clean and sanitized

The 150.00 Dollar deposit is annoying when you have to wait five days to get it back. If a 150.00 deposit is necessary, then it shouldn't be combined with the room cost. A hold can be put in a person account and release immediately after signing out

Rooms were spacious and clean with great shower pressure and hot water. Room cooled down great with AC and it was quiet at night to sleep. Thankful the hotel could accommodate us on very short notice. welcome bag of bottle water and a few snacks was very nice. Staff was wonderful.

Decor and facilities need updated. Hallways were warm almost humid. Continental breakfast did not offer many choices. To go cups in the morning of coffee and other beverages could be larger with kids to get on the road and help wake you up. should really offer a shuttle to and from campus at regular times on the weekends for all the guests that probably would stay here if closer to campuses of FSU and FAMU or had shuttles.

the property was in a great area and it’s is pretty big for a Days Inn. The customer service was great and the hotel did not smell bad like cigarettes compared to most cheaper hotels. it was actually pretty clean. My only concern would be the stained bed sheets. but I would say just bring your own. other than that it was great.

holes in the towels. room had a bad smell. be prepared to pay a damage deposit that you WILL NOT get back upon check out like the guy at front desk told me as I checked in as we checked out front desk girl told us we won’t get deposit back until 3 days or so. they need to be HONEST & UPFRONT at the beginning!!!
