Courtyard New Haven at Yale

The staff & hotel were great and very professional! Just got caught on a floor were out next door neighbors - all 5 or six of them were college students (venture a guess and say Yale students!) were very noisy until 3-4am! This was no dorm.. we needed to get our rest, the next day our older daughter & son had SAT tests to take, since NYC HS are still closed do to COVID-19 regulations! Cannot beat the location, almost across the street from YALE!

The location is ideal for anyone travelling to Yale. The front desk staff were great.

Tried to order food the first night at the Bistro and the worker was awkward about accepting cash, saying he was not left with money to make change (for my large bill) and eventually saying not to worry about paying; quickly accepting when I suggested he keep the change. He likely pocketed the money as it did not get rung into the till. On another morning, I used the computer in the business centre and discovered, due to a chatty next-computer-neighbor, that I was seated next to an employee who had just started work there. She was watching tik-tok videos. The toilet paper was the cheapest money could buy.

Nice location and is adjacent to Yale campus. Very nice and clean.

They didn’t have even a grab n go breakfast but was advertised as breakfast included. Cashless but did not clearly coney this.

Liked the friendly staff, very accommodating and welcoming all of them including housekeeping. The location is great for our purposes.

The bistro bar is limited - not open all day, the staff not as friendly as main hotel staff. If there was a kitchen / food service it would have been better.

Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. Easy walk to everything. Staff were helpful with suggestions about where to see fireworks etc.

Onsite parking 25$. Found a garage in town for 13$ per 24hrs. The bar/restaurant was barely operational. Menu had about 4 items. That said, the staff everywhere were friendly and helpful.

Great location, useful facilities (laundry facilities and microwave in the lobby), and most importantly the staff are extremely helpful and show excellent service attitude.

Location is very convenient to Yale. Campus right across the street

Down the street is a little sketchy as is New Haven. Very expensive hotel but anything close to Yale is outrageously priced if it is safe.. :-( Better than the super scary place I booked first in the long wharf area. You are paying for security and convenient location.

It was just a quiet room I needed. Perfect accommodation, no complaints. Staff was helpful and friendly. Also it was a cold day outside and there was free hot chocolate at the lobby. It was so sweet. Thank you!

Breakfast was separate. I forgot about that (not a problem but maybe upon booking, there can be a line that shows would you like breakfast yes/no). But it really is not a problem.

Have stayed here many times. An older facility, but nicely kept. Try to get a room on the back, facing the parking deck, as opposed to on the front of the building facing the street (which can be pretty loud)

Don't really have any complaints.....some aspects such as the bathrooms, are getting in need of renovation. But, the room overall is very nice and you can't beat the location.
