Waters Edge

This is such a charming little hotel, literally right on the water. It's pretty, and comfortable. They have a lovely happy hour each night, continental breakfast brought to your room, and the staff is so friendly and helpful (shout out to Jonathan who crawled around our floor figuring out how to reconnect the cable box). We wanted to go into the city for a couple of things, but also do some wine tasting. This was the perfect location because the ferry right outside the hotel takes you right to the Ferry Building, and then it was an easy drive to wineries as well. Plus it's in a cute little neighborhood with restaurants and shops, yet also nice and quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

Not many complaints honestly. Our breakfast tray was a bit random a couple mornings and the bathrooms are a little outdated (but clean and had an amazing shower).

What a wonderful hotel - from the warm welcome on arrival to every detail of the stay. Super comfortable rooms (we had 4); breakfast delivered to your door but on a tray so you could head up to the deck overlooking the Bay, Alcatraz and San Francisco beyond. The front desk staff were all helpful and friendly but we have to give a big Shout Out for Tom who went out of his way to make us welcome and help us with restaurant ideas, parking etc.

when we checked out. the reception order for us 4 people ,taxi to the Air Port .he charged us 311$ usd !!! the meter showed 186$! the driver told us 50% more for 4 pax ??? you know this driver ( he was on your list ) he left at the reception his personal belonging in order to keep space for our luggage we think it is not a good service for you and Tiburon as well. your comment will be appreciate thanks Arnon Wassermann.

The breakfasts were great! Delivered right to your room in the morning at a time of your choosing. The rooms were comfortable, the beds were good, but the best part was the location right on the water overlooking SF bay towards the SF skyline! The staff were very helpful, the wine and cheese happy hour from 5-7 pm was an added treat, and the complimentary bicycle rentals were another plus!

We loved our stay at Water’s Edge! Main Street was adorable and the hotel could not have been better located to explore Tiburon. The staff were all so nice. It was like coming to stay with family! “Breakfast in Bed” meant being able to get a little something in before going to explore areas like Point Reyes or Muirwoods. Then coming back to sit by the fire made for a cozy evening. We did not want to leave! We look forward to coming back and spending more time.

We loved the property - the only con I would say is not even about the hotel - some of the stores are open only odd days out of the week so we did not get to enjoy all Main Street had to offer due to this.

The location was perfect. It's right on the main street and very close to the ferry port. Restaurants and shops are steps away. They have free bike rentals too, and they stored our bikes safely. There is no onsite parking, but they validated local parking about 1 minute away. There is a rooftop terrace with a firepit and heat lamps with a splendid view of San Francisco, we sat out there each night and watched the stars.

It was time of Covid so there was no dining room for breakfast, but they provided room service breakfast and that was great. We couldn't have the evening cheese and wine in the lobby, but they gave us a goody bag of wine and nibbles to eat elsewhere.

As said before, loved the outdoor deck. View was awesome and it was such a great place to go and relax. Also, appreciated the wine and snack bags that we received. This was a nice touch. The room itself was great - so spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was huge!

Breakfast was OK, but wish we had some other options (ex. breakfast sandwiches, bacon, pancakes, etc).

The location is fantastic. The back deck looking out towards the city is so lovely. The room was comfortable and nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The welcome goody basket was a nice bonus and the included wine was actually of high quality!

We got something other than what we ordered for breakfast both mornings. Toast instead of a bagel, but bonus smoked salmon. The next day ordered the salmon, but didn't get it or the milk we ordered. I'm sure they would have fixed it if we had called, but they have a very small staff and we were fine, just a little inconvenient. The bathroom was under-lit.

The location was fantastic with amazing views of the bay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Tom from the front desk even came to our room to help get the air conditioner set to the correct temperature. Loved breakfast delivered each morning. Great selection of items and my 11 year-old daughter enjoyed all of them during our 5-day stay.

Our room had a small patio that overlooked a restaurant. Was uncomfortable to use when diners were present since they would look up at you while they were eating.

We loved the bikes and the wine at 5 pm, they were complimentary which made the value better. The view was amazing.

Construction next door resulted in early banging. The microwave and toaster are haphazardly balanced in view of the TV on top of the refrigerator. The bathroom fan is a bit ineffective.
