Tahoe Hacienda Inn

We had such an amazing time! It was our first time at Lake Tahoe and we had impulsively decided to take a trip and this place was our last minute booking! But upon arriving we got a free upgrade just for asking for our preference and the staff were all so kind and smiled when we saw them around! The rooms were impeccably clean and orderly when we arrived! We’re definitely only gonna stay here now! The best money-experience ratio! Plus the spa inside are crazy awesome!

There could be more lighting in the parking lot just for the feeling of safety although it was in quite a safe area.

Excellent location and really helpful staff - we had a rough morning with car trouble (burst tire). When the fridge in our room wasn’t working on arrival, we were upgraded to a wonderful suite. It was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The repairman helped us with our car and we had a comfortable stay. The desk staff were so helpful letting us use their landline phone to sort out a replacement car because we didn’t have American numbers. We Liked having a microwave and fridge in the room and the spa was lovely!

I stayed in room B it had two big beds facing the pool area. The view, weather, and the pool was all great. The spa wasn't working but it didn't matter the pool was amazing. Very quiet place ended staying and extra day because it was such a great experience. We definitely plan on staying here again.

everything was great the staff, the room, pool and also the Children of the owner was quick to get me towels when I had came put the pool. Everyone was really friendly

Very good value for money. You get what you pay for. It's not fancy but it's relatively clean, great location and free parking. The microwave and fridge are very handy and great to have an iron. We didn't use the pool but looked like a nice pool. Great for travellers on a budget!

Rooms are dated but as I said you get what you pay for. Better locks on the door would be good. They were hard to use. The driveway is very bumpy coming in.

For those that are low maintenance, I highly recommend Hacienda Inn! CLEAN, spacious room w/fridge & microwave, great locale, quiet at night, heater works, bed is fine, Free parking, easy check in/check out!

My only complaint was ice machine was not in service. I think this may have had been attributed to Covid...(lots of people touching the ice machine?) or perhaps because it is located outside and weather has something to do with it? I asked the gentleman at the front desk but I couldn't decipher what he said. The room is dated so if you are about newly renovated rooms it may not be for you.

The location of the hotel was great, it was close to everything. The grocery stores and restaurants was max 7 minutes away. The parking at the location was great we got to park right in front of the room we booked. The hotel room we booked also had working AC and Heaters!, this was a big plus.

The beds were a uncomfortable. It made it hard to get a good nights rest. The floor is also very very creaky is you are sleeping downstairs you can hear every step from the upstairs.

This is a great hotel with a throw back vibe to the good old days. I had a Queen room which was tidy and very clean and comfortable. I spent hours sitting on the chair on the porch outside the front door of the room which was enjoyable as opposed to watching TV or something. The staff was friendly and helpful at check in. I made the room reservation on very short notice, the evening before my stay, and was very pleasantly surprised with my stay; i even got an early check-in on a Sunday early afternoon.

I have no complaints about my stay.

the motel had a pot of coffee. That's all. But with a frig and microwave in the room, we actually had a very nice breakfast every day. Also, the room had an excellent tv with good cable service.

no closet in room. No hooks to hang anything. Liked the tv, but no channel guide, so one ends up scrolling instead of watching.

Liked having a place big enough for our group of 10 people. We enjoyed being together. The kids enjoyed the pool.

Could have been cleaned a little better. Several visible cobwebs in corners and on front door.
