Gunn House Hotel

This place is unique, On of the coolest places we have ever stayed. Bed was comfortable, food was good, Front desk clerk very attentive as well as gentleman overseeing breakfast. Very clean! From a former property manager: Bathroom sink slow to drain Mattress and be skirt was slip and slide Door needs weather stripping, you can see daylight all around frame

It was quiet. The front desk worker was great.. we were out til 1800. We enjoyed the pool. And the awesome thing about our room was the bed. I haven't slept all thru the night.. not I can recall in a BIG while.

It would be ideal if there were microwaves in room and/or a mini fridge. However, on a different outlook.. it is a small town.. with the feel of stepping back in a time capsule of the late 1800's. Understandably enough Duh! Appliances weren't invented YET.. I am Definitely NOT Complaining about the pool either. Even tho in the 1800's there were no pools. Just a river and a rope swing..

It was great for sleeping and a home base. There was an air conditioner and a gas heater.

There are no microwaves or refrigerators in the room, a non working fireplace, the closet space is in the bathroom, and there is one chair with ottoman in the room. There was no restaurant or continental breakfast provided. Finding the ice machine was a challenge.

Very cute place. Older building, but well kept and everything was clean and working. I enjoyed the old-west theme of decor. The breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfast was better than average. I appreciated that they use real dishes instead of disposables. Also the location was great - right at the end of a street full of shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay again!

The historical aspect of this property is amazing, it's delightfully accurate in decor both inside and out. I have stayed there several times and it's always good. The downtown location is great for walking down and enjoying the main street. The parking is safe and clean.

Breakfast was lovely the Innkeeper made me waffles and good variety of different foods to choose from. The pool is awesome!!!!

Water temperature in the shower kept changing but this is probably due to old plumbing

Great room bed was very comfy. We actually slept for 11 hours straight. Room was clean and inviting..love the decor. The windows in the front door were awesome.

The staff wasn't at the hotel when we got there. We had to wait for him to check us in. He kept calling us to see if we were going to keep our reservation. That was annoying. Oh and there was no coffee pot in the room.

Nothing. It is an older hotel in an old gold mining town. Cool place to stay with a lot of history. Yet it is updated and very nice. Great pool and breakfast!

Great location, within walking distance of downtown shops, restaurants and bars. Hotel is unique with lots of sitting alcoves etc. Pool was refreshing.

Breakfast was lukewarm and selection limited. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room or to have access to coffee making facilities. Not a lot of space in the room but the outside sitting areas made up for the lack of space inside.
