Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Rancho Cordova/Folsom

bedding bathroom and kitchen were very clean staff was nice breakfast was good/ok. 3hot tray items: scrambled eggs, meat(sausage or bacon), carbo (potatoes or French toast). hot waffle maker.

the property is 2.5 star older not updated. the carpet and arm chair was old/dirty. some parts under bed not super clean. recommend replace with synthetic wood floors that can be kept mopped clean. and leathery arm chairs. on second day. hot food ran out. the single server said no more but after a long while did bring out more. maybe they should make sure food doesn’t run out on Sunday morning.

Great location to gas stations and places to eat. Close access to on ramp for nearby Hwy 50 to Tahoe or Sacramento. Very nice lobby area. Lots of tables for morning complimentary hot & cold breakfast items. We got a very nice clean room with king size bed, kitchenette w/sink, stove, microwave, toaster, and full size fridge. The A/C worked well to cool the room down quickly after we entered. Some dishes and coffee cups were in the cupboards, enough for two people. The hotel parking was nice, had no problems finding parking that went all around the property with easy access to lobby from either the North or South side of the hotel. Automatic sliding doors to lobby. The elevator to our 3rd floor room was easy to find, worked well and no major delays. We were traveling and staying just one night midweek, and not the weekend. So not sure how it would be for a weekend stay. But for $72/night rate booked through booking.com, thought we got a great deal for the price.

Can’t say a lot about what I didn’t like. For some reason saw a few people just parked and staying in their cars. Not sure why? Wi-Fi?. Guess I should have asked the hotel clerk. My wife who has a better sense of smell than I do, felt there was a slight musty smell when we first walked in.

LOVED the beds, the comfort and price made it all worth it. They also had a great variety for breakfast including hot food which I appreciated! it was so convenient.

I will say one thing that docked 2 points for me. Our room was definitely not very clean, I had to kind of touch up, it also had ants scattered around, not crazily infested but just randomly everywhere there would be 1-2 ants. I would’ve liked it to be cleaner especially having an infant who crawls to get around, there were crumbs left (front some other person) I had to make sure I cleaned up, spider webs in the corner, black feet from the carpet, I slightly questioned for a moment if the bedding had even been changed but I do believe it was. The only downfall was the cleanliness in the room and the sketchy elevator.

When we arrived the guy at the front desk was friendly and when we got to our room we were very pleased, it was larger than most hotel rooms we have been to and we've been to a lot of hotels. The bunk bed was amazing the kids loved it. The room had a small kitchen with a few dishes and the room was clean.

Parking was a bit difficult, it was pretty packed and hard to find a parking spot for anything bigger than a car. The king bed could also use a new mattress it was leaning a lot you'd have to sleep right in the middle in order to feel like you weren't falling off. But other than that everything was great. If we are ever in folsom again we will definitely book here.

The rooms are a bit dated but otherwise excellent. I would not mind staying here again, it's super quiet, and the location is perfect. bed was comfortable, the bathroom worked fine. Room is quite large.. there is a kitchen here with a hot plate. Breakfast was basic, but delicious eggs, some sausage, bagels, muffins, yogurt, cereal, coffee.. all the good stuff for a power morning...

nothing really caught my eye as a negative. The hotel is dated, but that cannot be a negative.

I love the staff at this location. The front desk supervisor, the housekeeping supervisor and their staff really take care of the guests. This is my 2nd visit to this hotel and I have 3 more reservations for school nearby. I was able to set up a functional office/working space. Fridge and amenities to eat have your own food. The breakfasts are actually pretty darn good! I enjoyed the hot tub too.

The hotel itself could use a little TLC... But it's kept really clean.

Big room, clean and smelled really nice. Comfortable beds, really nice staff and in a quiet area. hot breakfast included but was kind of blend (especially eggs) but other than that it was very good

upstairs neighbors unfortunately we were very unhappy with them constantly jumping (not sure if they had kids) running, stomping (almost) - for about an hour in the evening and then in the morning all weekend long. shower head needs to be changed - water was running so slow in the shower but then it was splashing everywhere in the sink

Big room, comfortable bed, 4 pillows! Microwave, Fridge..large TV..had a king suite with a couch, table, sink in kitchenette..great shower..quiet location..Delicious waffles, superior coffee and juices...there were cereals, oatmeal, fruit, yogurts..and great waffles with Mrs Butterworth syrup or a great copycat.. Will definitely be booking this hotel for all future visits to the Folsom, Fair Oaks area..Great value!

Scrambled eggs and bacon were overcooked.. country potatoes were undercooked...everything else in the dining room was great! No issues with the room or any service staff.

Staff greeted us immediately upon entering . Our room was clean and comfortable. Both night and morning shift managers were very personable and nice. We were asked if everything was okay and how was our stay. Refreshing being treated kindly.

Unfortunately there were homeless people outside during the night outside parking lot. Night Night manager did ask the homeless people to leave the area. The night manager was direct but kind engaging with homeless individuals outside hotel.

Property is exactly what you’d expect for the price point. Nothing fancy, rooms are dated. However, everything was fine with our visit. Breakfast was AMAZING and staff was super kind!!

Room didn’t have a smoke alarm, but once I told the front desk he was very embarrassed and concerned to fix it right away which I appreciated. Some fixtures were a little worn, like the towel rack would fall from the wall if too many wet towels were on it. All in all though, I would recommend. It was clean and comfortable. Just dated and needs some TLC.
