Vineyard Valley Inn

This is an older motel that has been remodelled. Room was very clean. Great location to wine country. Nice outdoor patio and grill area for relaxation. Staff was very friendly. Liked it so much, we stayed an extra night. Cloverdale has a nice and friendly downtown. All the vinyards are within a 10 to 30 minute drive in beautiful country.. lots of available wine tasting opportunities. We especially enjoyed Trattore Farms for wine and olive oil.

There was no breakfast, but we knew that beforehand.

Room was larger than expected. Comfortable 2 queen beds. Full kitchen appliances(no silverware), standard size refer, stovetop(no pots), microwave, coffee pot. Efficient A/C (it was 100 degrees outside).

We had our dog with us. No designated place to take her out. Went up to the street to find gravel for her, no grass, understandable during draught.

I had asked for an early check in and was not charged extra for it. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Needed to have a mirror and sit down place to do hair and makeup. Doing all that standing in front of bathroom mirror was difficult. Husband and I were trying to get ready for a big family wedding we were attending.

Bath tub drained very slowly, standing in a pool of water while showering. Only one roll of toilet paper for 3 days. It took a long time for the water to get hot.

It is an renovated older motel. The upgrade is really nice. We only stayed one night, but it was a comfortable room set in a quiet area of Cloverdale.

We were up relatively early around 7:00 am, but workmen had already come to work on the room next door. If we had gotten up later, it would have disturbed our sleep.

Quiet and discretely located at the end of Coverdale with A/C and heat and shower and sink and bed and microwave oven and refrigerator and coin operated laundry and dryers and ice machine. pleasant and professional people with exceptional management

Needed a vending machine

No breakfast, convenience store nearby though. The whole place looked clean and well kept. Room smelled faintly of new paint, non carpet flooring, plenty of parking and the restaurant we ate at was walking distance.

Reception could be a little friendlier. I know it’s still restricted but even a small token (water?) to welcome you.

Our unit was recently completely renovated. Don’t know if that’s true for all units. Even had a full size refrigerator and 4 burner stove was not advertised as a full kitchen. Someone has mad efforts to start some nice original type landscaping. I was just a one night stop over for us. But clearly someone is putting a lot of effort in to make it nice place.

Older hotel but so quaint. Didn't realize our room had a kitchette. Loved the little outdoor seating area for morning coffee. Pleasantly surprised with our stay!! Would definitely book again!

Very clean. You can tell that the property has been re-done with loving care recently. Room was simple, but nice, and the bathroom was recently re-done too.

Our room, 103 was extremely humid (it was not humid outside), no matter what we did or running the AC, it was humid the entire time. Perhaps we were next to the linen washing room?
